Our experience with Bayview Water Taxis was fantastic and added a unique touch to our family outing. The staff on board were welcoming and accommodating. We started at Stop 7 and made our way to Stop 8 to visit Hugh Taylor Birch State Park for a family picnic. The ride was smooth, and the staff at the park were hospitable, making us feel welcome throughout the journey. The children had a great time exploring the park’s attractions, particularly the reptile exhibit, which was both educational and fun. The walking trails offered a chance to enjoy nature and added to the day’s excitement.

Later, we boarded the water taxi again, heading to Stop 10 for another delightful excursion before returning to Stop 7 at the Galleria One. The water taxi service was reliable and convenient, allowing us to enjoy the scenic Intracoastal Waterway while traveling between destinations.

This is definitely the most fun activity in Fort Lauderdale. It’s more of a guided tour than a taxi, and the boat crew are incredibly knowledgeable about the area. You get an up close look at all the incredible mansions, super yachts, and beautiful scenery along the intracoastal. The boat stops at several excellent restaurants and many of them give discounts if you show your water taxi tickets. There is a bar and bathrooms on the boats. Pro tip: tickets are discounted to $25 from $40 after 5PM, which is the best time to go because it is less crowded, you can see the “golden hour” sunset, and it’s cooler. Service stops at 10pm. The actual taxi stop is accessed by walking through the hotel at this location. If you’re not a hotel guest you can park for free at the Galleria mall 2 blocks away.
