Maybe I’m spoiled because I lived in Dallas & the staff @ the North Park location delivered an exceptional in-store experience every single time. The staff @ this location, however, deliver an abysmal experience every single time I visit. For starters, most (if not all) employees have very little product knowledge for skincare and they cannot recommend products for specific concerns (a stark contrast to Sephoras in Dallas). Some employees are downright rude (on my last visit, one in particular acted so bothered when I asked for help color matching a concealer). The store is a mess. Empty shelves because they don’t restock products that they have in-stock (ie, products aren’t sold out). There are times when staff ask every few minutes if you’re finding everything okay (annoying), and other times when they’re unavailable because they’re all congregating together.
I LOVED going to Sephora in Dallas because of the wonderful in-store experience. I would spend more money than I intended and bought things I didn’t “need.” However, I dread going to Sephora since living Fort Worth. Im no longer a Rouge member (was Rouge for 3-4 years when I lived in Dallas), and almost always leave with samples instead of purchased items. It’s really unfortunate. I hope Sephora recognizes this store’s issues, and invests in customer service training and product training for...
Read moreI came in at about 4pm on mother’s day, to find my mom the lipstick she wanted. I went in And went straight to the brand of the lipstick display got it and went to check out, when I was checking out the personality was a little dry and at then end I didn’t get any of tissue paper they put in your bag which is odd . But I just said Ol well when walking out the buzzer went off so I stepped back and gave the lady wearing a hijab at the door my bag to check it . She took the receipt out and looked and pulled out the one small Fenty lipstick. She looked at me for a few seconds just staring at me with this uneasy look. Then she said let’s go to the register when I did she pulled the receipt out again matched up the barcodes to see if they were the same. When she noticed they was the same she kinda just looked at me again uneasy and she slowly gave me bag back. When I was walking out she was like yeah maybe it’s Something in your Purse setting it off . I said yeah okay and walked out and the buzzer went off again and I just left. I felt she was giving off that I was stealing or some what . You guys need to train your employees how to stay positive and keep giving customer service. It happens don’t got to act like that person is stealing . When I worked in sales I kept a positive energy and did not made my customers feel they did...
Read moreI feel bad writing this review and i almost didnt, but i remember search myself over and over for information on Sephora’s beauty lessons and didnt get a lot of info for this location since it was the closest one to us. But because i spent $85 plus tip (or over $100) i think i owe to others like me who dont like throwing money away…
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 17yr old daughter who wanted to learn how to put makeup on. She doesn’t wear makeup but on the off chance that she did she wanted to learn a “no make-up” routine
We got assigned Kelli and we told her the above. Unfortunately an hour later, my daughter had a full, thick face of makeup on with very heavy eyes. She was so embarrassed by it we couldnt even go to any other stores we had planned bc she just wanted to go home and take it off. We are not difficult people, so we tipped her (even though i didnt want to!) and went on our way.
My daughter was a bit tearful about it all, but oh well, what can we do. In any case it was a huge waste of money and time. Kelli was nice and all, but she just didnt have the expertise unfortunately.
Anyway, hope this can help others out there: look elsewhere for a make-up expert to provide you with a tutorial.
(Also, in general, there isnt a lot of “customer service” at this location as compared to Kohls...
