Really loved the Meux Home Museum!! Extremely well preserved and presented. Each room was a ton of variety, tons of interesting items and clothing and history. Both guides (bottom and top floors) were informative and nice, and everyone was really enthused. I must say that the main guy - not a tour guide but the guy who seemed like he was in charge at the front desk - was very off-putting, that would be my one minor irk, but luckily he wasn't the guide. We got to learn about the family, walk around the outside, and see everything - even learned about the old trolley system, I wish that still existed. I actually grew up in a house like this so in some ways it was almost like returning to my childhood memories. Great...

I've lived in Fresno/Clovis almost my entire life, I was born here, raised here, spent 40 of my 42 years here and last night was my very first tour through the Meux Home Museum. We did a night tour which was awesome and a little spooky. All of the docents were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every last minute detail of the house. Stepping through the threshold was like walking into a time capsule, they did such an amazing job restoring the house to its former glory. We will definitely be back for a day time tour soon!
