Pediatric Dental Specialists — Attraction in Fruita

I have four boys and for 20 years we have probably been to every pediatric dentist in Grand Junction and Fruita (Colorado). We have been disappointed and had horrible experiences at nearly every pediatric dentist..That is until we took our youngest boys to Pediatric Dental Specialists of Western Colorado. I cannot express enough how wonderful their staff is- from the front reception to the dental hygienists, to the doctors. Dr. Beck Is the most competent and kind doctor I have ever met! He makes my boys feel so comfortable with his witty sense of humor. Dr. Beck is fun yet professional, always! As always, the staff was patient and friendly with my 4-year-old. He wasn’t able to handle the procedure on Nitrous but the team made an extended effort to make it happen, always being understanding of the physical limits of a child this age (for example, it’s hard to breathe through your nose when your mouth is open). I felt confident that they made every effort at success, and I trust them that this is a good time to bring in the “big guns” of sedation. They were sensitive to the choice involving a big cost, and worked to give me the info I needed to make a good decision for my family, all while really centering my child’s specific case (not just giving me what’s true for “most kids”). All my children have been Pediatric Dental Specialists patients, and all have received unwavering great care. The Grand Junction office was our go-to for 8 years, until the new Fruita location opened. Yay! When my son needed braces to correct a severe under bite, they helped us coordinate care with an orthodontist that was 100% covered by our insurance, and a block from his school. They've even made special accommodations for two of my kids to receive care until 16, when we had a terrible experience at a different dental office after 'graduating out' of pediatrics.
