Hotel Americano — Attraction in Garapan

I don't normally leave reviews but I feel like I must for this particular boutique hotel.

They completed a special request to the T. I asked for a special item to be available in the room in my reservation and the hotel went above and beyond ensuring that not only was the item there but a whole bowl. There are not a whole lot of hotels that would accommodate. The American really came through.

Their breakfast. I was expecting a self serve continental breakfast which is common for hotels. Not the Americano. The Americano has catered, made to order breakfast, and it is served with a smile. After a long night of drinking and hanging out with my girlfriend this was a very welcome experience. The breakfast was freshly made with quality ingredients.

The location. The area is in a bit of a slump due to covid but the hotel is in walking distance from the little night life that exists in Saipan. The area is relatively safe too. Plenty of karaoke bars near by. Easy to return to your room from the beach, dinner, or partying.

Friendly and helpful staff. It was raining and the hotel has umbrellas available to any and all guests. No extra charge. If you are looking for a quick midnight snack they have snacks available in the lobby.

Very clean hotel.

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. I paid $85 per night. I feel like I ripped them off by staying at that price. A comparable visit in some place like NYC would be $300+ per night.

Very simple budget hotel in the heart of Garapan. The room was clean with 2 free bottles of water, toothbrushes, hand soap, shampoo & body soap in the shower area. The towels were clean. I stayed one night for a work trip. They had a security box in the room. The a/c was cold.

There was no elevator. The cable tv was not working and the internet speed was slow. Other than that i still recommend staying here for the...
