The Tulip Tower is a 70' steel tower set in the back of the ravine accessed by two rope bridges and features four elevated viewing platforms. There is a special story behind the theme and story of this tower, with information on each level. At the top of the tower, enjoy a very unique view of the Smokies and the iconic SkyBridge. This is an adventure for all ages! The Path is the non-boardwalk portion of the trail cut into the natural hillside extending from the Tulip Tower across to the west end of the SkyBridge with views of the Smoky Mountains from every step. This section really highlights the spectacular engineering marvel- the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, along with the stunning panaoramic views of the highest peaks in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Do not drive to this place. You will get directions but the two way road is extremely steep, narrow and dangerous. It has no railings. Besides I was the only way to enjoy the site is by the aerial tramway. I wish I had known that ahead of time. Be careful...

Very easy walk. Trail is flat and easy to manage. A person with a walker could do it. Getting to the tower itself requires walking across a wooden bridge that will sway more than the larger sky bridge. The tulip tower bridge is not...
