Really disappointed with the treatment I received in the golf section today. I bought my driver from this location a couple of years ago and received great service, which made today’s experience feel especially off.
I came in ready to buy a new set of irons but was met with attitude and zero interest in helping. One employee kept giving me strange looks while I browsed, like I was about to pocket a driver and sprint lol. When I asked if I could try two clubs, he responded with condescending body language and made it seem like a ridiculous request. I get that someone was being fitted — I’ve been through fittings before and know they take time — but I would’ve happily waited because I drove pretty far to get to this location. Instead, I was brushed off and told to “just call ahead and come back.”
It felt like being a kid trying to test drive a Ferrari — talked down to and not taken seriously.
To top it off, a group of employees in the clothing section were cursing loudly and being obnoxious while I was browsing. High school locker room vibe more than a sporting goods store. Don’t get me wrong — I swear and joke obnoxiously with my friends too— but there’s a time and place, especially when there are kids and customers around.
Would’ve given 5 stars, but with employees like this, 2 is more than generous. Hope this was just a today thing because a couple of year ago when I came it was a good experience. management needs to get it together over there.

I went to pick up an oversized package, and soon after I checked in, an employee came out inspect my car and suggest that my car wasn't large enough for the package. When I asked, he was very willing to humor me and try anyway. I had no idea how big this package was until I saw it. So, he spent 20-ish minutes carting this 7+ ft, ~250 lb package outside and trying to fit it in my car, only for me to realize that he was absolutely right and it would not fit in my car. He advised me on my options regarding bungee cords and pick-up truck rentals, and explained what would happen to my package depending on how long I waited. When I came back with a pick-up truck hours later, he was still there and he did most of the work heaving this package onto my truck. Read moreI bought a couple items about a week ago, got charged over $400 instead of $270 and when the refund was made the employee didn’t issue the refund properly and unknowingly walked out without paying full price for two items, I came back today to exchange the two items I was informed that I didn’t fully pay for the items. At first I was given the option the keep the items and just pay for the new items i was going to and she said “it’s your choice if that’s your character then keep them” but then she just changed her mind immediately and said If I walked out with the two items I had on my receipt that shed have to call security?
