Associate put my things back without asking. Kept acting as if I was in dressing room too long and I believe she assumed I wasnt buying and returned my things. This is why I steer clear of small specialized stores. When your in big box stores no one bothers and no one cares how long you take. I had hand picked things that I wanted and the lady was unapologetic. I'm like you put my things back and she said "you mean you put things up here without telling someone." I said the associate put them there which means you put them back without checking with anyone. She didnt take any ownership. Didnt even apologize. I just walked out. Just had a new LB credit card. It was my wedding weekend and cost wasnt a factor. They missed out. Never used credit card since.
UPDATE 8 months later: just went again to do a return for xmas gift. Lady starts scanning my boots for return without even saying hi to me or making eye contact. Huh??? She literally said nothing. I had to greet her and she acted like it was nothing. Usually if a customer has to greet you after you started ringing them up most salespeople feel a little ashamed becz they may have forgot or had a distracting thought. She said she would have to get her manager since the return wasnt ringing up. There was a lady standing next to her doing nothing who left and went in the back. After seeing her struggle and talk abt getting her mgr. When she came back with the mgr it was the same lady that was standing next to her originally. Most managers would have become involved to see a smooth service experience for the customer. They werent mean or anything but they just werent engaged and focused on getting a customer to come back. I mean no one else was in this store. So this is actually an opportunity for them to wow their customer and build relationships being a small store with very few customers at a time. I mean if you go to kohls around the corner, they provide service excellence. They are motivated to be delightful and accommodating. Needless to say I had a in store credit with $75 and I wasnt inclined to even look...

The time was between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. The store was not that busy. I went in the store to pick up an order. The young lady behind the register had not acknowledged me and I had been standing there for a while. So, I said excuse me I'm here to pick up an order. Let me just say she needs a little bit more patient to be in customer service.
