uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair — Attraction in Goldsboro

I was passing by and decided to stop in. BIGGEST MISTAKE! Walked in at the same time as another customer. When he finished with him he proceeded to talk to me about a phone that was dropped off. I’m assuming he confused me with someone else. I had no idea what he was talking so I politely told him No sir I’m her to drop a phone off! He told me there was a deposit so I was trying to pay but he was standing over me while I was putting my pin so the transaction was canceled and I used my credit card where I didn’t have to use a pin. Then he gave me some type of contract to sign. I’ve always been taught to never sign anything without reading it. So as I began to read the terms he printed out a duplicate copy and said “oh here is your copy.” Not sure if I was being rushed or not. So I read it into its entirety then signed it. He said it will be ready in two hours. So as I was checking my watch seen it was 320 he said it’ll be ready at 530. I said great thanks. I get here at 535 nobody is in sight when I walk into the business. A few seconds later he comes around the corner and say oh it’s still another 15 minutes on that device. I sat in place I waited 20 minutes and went on to ask him was it ready he said no. I’m assuming at this point he is now working by himself. Im not sure! If I could give 500 stars to this uBreakiFix location, I would. I dropped my S23 Ultra in December and cracked the screen, I filed my warranty claim with Samsung and scheduled the repair date with this uBreakiFix location. I showed up for my appointment and the screen needed for my replacement was out of stock (Samsungs fault). The employee in charge, Lisa, made sure she did everything and anything in her power to assist and rectify the situation. After contacting Samsung, I will now be receiving a new phone within a few days due to the screen being unavailable nation wide, for $99. Lisa made sure to clearly communicate my options, help in anyway she could and really take care of her customer. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my experience with this uBreakiFix location. Customer Service is great. However, if you have a device that is being repaired under warranty & was told it cant be fixed, make sure to get a second opinion. I took in my device for repair and the next day was told it could not be repaired because of a very small blemish on the screen. They claimed it was Samsung's policy. Now, I dont know if Samsung said this about my phone specifically, or its just a general policy up to ubreakifix's discretion, but it sounded suspicious to me & I decided to contact Samsung and have the phone shipped and repaired directly through them. Samsung, has repaired my broken phone and shipped it back to me for Free. No money out of my pocket because it was under warranty and 'fixable'.
