I had a very difficult experience with the gift cards at this specific location. Do not get any type of "third party" gift cards at this location, be aware that you will not get refunded because... this is their policy. This is clearly stated on the receipt, the number one issue I had... is how would I know if the gift card isn't redeemable unless I would need to purchase. Correct? Mind you it's not refundable???? The next step, I kindly asked to speak with the manager. The staff member was very kind and got the manager after my second trip. The manager Anissa I believe is her name. She had an attitude with me after explaining my issue with the gift card. I understood the refundable policy. I had expressed to the manager I had been travelling back and forth from Target and conversing with Apple Care because I followed the Target customer service instructions of contacting Apple Care. Since Target does not have anything to do with third party retailers. I just did not appreciate the treatment that I have received from the manager. I had asked her to calm down when I'm the customer, who should be upset, the manager did not offer to put the fifty dollars on a different gift card or any type of resolution and apologized for any inconveniences I had encountered.. I finally got the apple care on the phone for the manager to come back from wherever she came from speaking to management. She stated she already spoke to Apple care in a rude tone on her end.
Then she offered to give me another gift card after making me wait, the second gift card again is not redeemable.
Lesson learned do not get any gift cards, it was a second trip wasted. I did not even bother with Target because of the treatment I had received. I am a bit upset because this is my home location, I have been going to this location for almost eight years, and I have never received any type of treatment from this location. Very...
Read moreJust now at the checkout, the cashier, Wendy decided to talk to her coworker Kristina about a guest who had just left. I have never been more hurt, as someone who was forced to listen to these two woman have a conversation in front of me, I quickly became APPALLED & couldn’t keep my mouth shut.
Christina said “the caregiver said she was just trying to get her out of the house” where Wendy replied “Well she shouldn’t be taking her out of the house!” I dont know what happened prior but that was all I needed to hear of the conversation to be completely hurt.
My grandma suffers with dementia. I’ve been her full-time caregiver for eight years. We stay home a lot of the time because people like Wendy are judgmental and cruel. You don’t know what someone’s going through and you should never ridicule people with disabilities.
If you’re Christina or Wendy, I hope you read this and I hope you know how your words matter and they can truly hurt people. I pray neither of you ever have to be a full-time caregiver if that’s the way that you view it.
If you’re the Caregiver who they were talking about, I hope you don’t give up on giving your loved one a piece of normalcy no matter how hard it is and how judgmental people like Wendy can be. Everyone deserves a trip to target if they want to go.
And target teach your employees to shut up and do their job. Talking about guests in front of other guests should never be allowed. Save it for the team meeting. Save it for...
Read moreThe store was clean and pretty easy to find items, however I noticed that a store manager was following me around the store all the way to self checkout. I was scanning items in the store for the Shopkick app, also shopping at the same time. I usually do this at another location and haven't ever been followed around in a store. Maybe it was a coincidence but it didn't feel that way. I am a Hispanic woman, so I felt a bit discriminated against on a routine shopping trip. Also, I would've purchased more items but chose not too because I felt very uncomfortable. I won't ever return to this location. UPDATE: I swore I would never shop at this location again but I decided to give the store another try and it was a huge disappointment once again. I went to customer to ask about an item that was showing on clearance on the Target app but not in the store. The female working the customer service desk was not friendly nor helpful at all. She told me that they don't price match from their app and wasn't apologetic or anything . She simply said I can help who is next. Yup. She blew me off, just like that. I use to shop at Target quite a bit but as of late not so much and this was a reminder of why I don't. I'll stick with Walmart, Fry's and...
