When I visited my Eyemart Express yesterday, I saw staff interviewing and hiring, training, collaborating on behalf of customers, welcoming shoppers, and doing a lot of helpful explaining and answering questions from customers about Eyemart Express products, good care habits for glasses, different accessories, available prices and discounts, and information about one-hour (or less) prep before glasses could be picked up. And I probably missed a few things. My glasses were ready for me in 9 minutes. This is obviously a place trying very hard to provide our community excellent service, good products, and over the top good faith and practice for everyone who walks through their doors. I’m retired but I love the energy and enthusiasm of young people (like Martin, who assisted me with my purchase yesterday) learning how to give shoppers the best deal for their money, who want to work, and want to attain a higher level of skill to be recognized and hopefully advance in the business organization if that is their goal. I have purchased many pairs of glasses since our local store opened. I appreciate our Eyemart Express. As an outsider, my observations might surprise the employees who were in the store doing their jobs yesterday. There was so much more going on, and it was a vibrant, dynamic atmosphere. ...
Read moreAfter driving around town to get new glasses. ..I was determined, however the first two places were too busy to fit me in; their earliest was latter part of January. I looked up my plan for another nearby facility... glad I found Eyemart.
As I walked in Chaya greeted me with a smile, discovered I didn't have a current prescription and directed me to see Dr. Ken for an appointment (15 steps away) . The ladies there were great... they mentioned appointments were full but could squeeze me in.... just to note, Dr. Ken is awesome.
While waiting for an opening, Chaya and I looked at glasses to my satisfaction...I selected two.
To make a long story shorter. After my eye exam, Chaya started the process..... from previous experiences I thought to myself...see you in a week. She mentioned that I could go next door to eat while the glasses are being made...I was shocked, both glasses will be done within the hour. Just as I was partway thru my lunch...text says first pair ready.
Needless to say I was impressed with the service and speed by both...Dr. Ken and his staff and Eyemart staff (Chaya)... Thanks for making my day a focus of yours......

Ordered two pair and both had one lens out of focus.. Ok it happens. They "tested" the lens and of course it's perfect.. Hmm. So back to doctor I go. I get retested 3 times. Script is good. Even built a trial pair from lenses. Yup still good. Dr checks the trouble lens with curvature measuring device, it shows the lens is warped. So he called them up to explain.
So I give the glasses back for a recut and what does Eyemart do? They arbitrarily change the script and tell me to give it a try. Ok, sure nothing illegal or improper there. So I reluctantly try it and it's still not right. Further, they refused to recut the actual script in hand until the Dr can be contacted. Like checking my eyes a 4th time will help. Plus hes out for a week on holidays.
I give up and requested a refund... which will take weeks to get since the store refused to refund the lousy $150...
