YOUNG FOLK DELIVERING YESTERYEAR CUSTOMER SERVICE Let me say, we live in a world these days where customer service skills have NOT been instilled in our young folk.I don't know how many stores I have gone into in Great Falls and the sales associates are standing around talking, not caring who came in or if you need help. J C PENNEY'S has found a way to attract the young folk who were brought up with a sense of what Department Store use to mean back in the day. I have encountered rare hard to find customer service by their associates, and the combination of quality clothing and bright smiling faces will keep me coming back to J C Penney. These young ladies and gentlemen are always willing to help. I had a young woman today, Ashley R. in the women's department who saw me at the dressing room, came over and asked if I need another size , not only did she retrieved that, but she also brought a couple of other things and stayed through the rest of the sale. There is also a young man that is always in the men's department, who is always on the ball. I am not sure of his name but he is always dressed in as he is in an office, blonde hair about 5'5". Use to have someone able to help measure, send away for hemming suit pant's length, pick out ties, socks, shoes, but not anymore! GHOST TOWN!!!

Question to Corporate: Why would you think anyone looking for a suit would buy one from your store, when there isn't an experienced seamstress or a retired well dress Gentleman who has worn fine suits all his life?
I'm to take a lady working in the jewelry departments fashion sense advise?
Close it down already or bring back the JCPenny tradition of fine mensware with a seamstress and a retired gentleman who knows what fine suits are about, and how that young man feels going to a social event for the first time, wearing his first suit, at an affordable price???

Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I came into the store with a purchase order & needed to exchange a few items for the correct sizes. Not only is the store extremely understaffed, the few staff I did interact with were managers/supervisors & although my purchases brought in over $350 of sales, they treated me rude, as if my transactions were an issue or a problem for them to have to complete.
I was also not greeted or helped the same as white customers. I was even made to feel uncomfortable like I was in the way with my cart & items because I had a purchase order. As if that made me less important as a customer and as a person.
Shop somewhere else if you have the option. If I had the option I wouldn't have brought my business...
