Bikes Blades & Boards - Bike Shop — Attraction in Grosse Pointe Park

First few times I went there they were very pleasant. After spending $650 there I can back to exchange a light and have my newly installed kickstand fixed. It is loose and short. I asked the brown haired woman to help me with a minor adjustment on a busy Sunday. Previously, a kindly gentlemen told me to come back and he'd take care of it. However, the woman was extremely rude and talked to me as if I was an idiot or someone without common sense. My kickstand is too short and her response was: pay $20 or we can't help you. It is what it is and told me I should turn my basket to the right to keep my bike from falling over. Hmm, wouldn't have thought of that. Plus, I returned a light that was defective. Spent 45 minutes trying to get it to work. She was sarcastic and had a new one quickly handed to me. No 'why didn't it work' or a sympathetic, sorry you had to ride down here etc. Some of the teens who work there are sweet. No big deal but will reconsider when I buy five more bikes...

All I can say minus some differing opinions on something’s Rick down there has given me top notch customer service had a problem with the Aventon adventure 3 I bought from him.

Problems began with a resent update Aventon put out that buggered up things for people across the country in my case broke the bike literally. He did his due diligence with Aventon sent me back home because Aventon was to put out an update to fix their mess up. I updated the next day but unfortunately still buggered up bike.

Rick went out of his way to remedy the situation up to and offering to refund and to walk away. He more than remedied the situation for me and I’m rolling down the road again. 2 thumbs up from me and a repeat customer inspite of a 1.5 hr...

I can’t say enough great things about this store and the people who work there. I recently purchased a bike for my daughter from B3 and the owner, Bryan, and his employees, went above and beyond to help me decide on a bike and various accessories. They are not only knowledgeable but you can tell they really care about their customers. I live about 40 minutes from the store but still traveled there to check it out because it came highly recommended by a friend of mine and i feel it’s very important to support small businesses. I will absolutely be visiting them again for our family’s sporting needs and I recommend...
