This is a great place to shop to fulfill your Carrie-related outfit dreams for relatively cheap. This place has garments from Free People, Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. Garments were organized by category, color and size, and there were some curated shopping moments throughout the store. There is a small (maybe 4 racks) section of men’s clothes. No fitting rooms, but there were maybe 6 mirrors along the walls of the store that you could try stuff on atop your clothes in front of. I really appreciated that there were rolling racks nearby to hold what you wanted to try on, and to leave behind unwanted items, and staff was regularly switching rolling racks out. Large bags to shop with are provided, like the blue bags at IKEA.
I specifically stopped by to find a guest dress for a wedding. It seemed like most dresses were $50-$60. While many items seem new or are in great shape, there are damaged and used items on the racks that are priced the very same, so inspect carefully before purchase! The dress I liked most had boning sticking out in a couple places, pilling and stress points at the slit. If you are a bride, I think you could find some lovely engagement photo or non-gown white styles, though there were only a few long gowns.
Ultimately, I left empty handed but inspired. I enjoyed shopping there and trying things on quickly helped me narrow down some things I liked and sizing which made ordering a dress...
Read moreWhile it's really nice to get things from anthropology and their sister brands at a discount, this place has no fitting rooms. It's quite a task vying with others to use one of the mirrors in the store and a spare clothing rack that's sitting around to try on things over your clothes. Thank goodness I read reviews before coming here so I knew to wear leggings and a tank. In addition, I highly recommend coming with a friend or other shopping companion to help you carry things and hold down a space.
Additional note: inspect items carefully! Many things are ripped, stained, or have other flaws which is why they are discounted. I found an absolutely beautiful BHLDN dress but it had a makeup stain. I'm guessing these were garments used in the stores for sample fittings and have now ended up here. All Sales Are Final so if you get it home and then find something wrong, you're out of luck. Godspeed fellow...
Read moreI'm 5'2 ft and on the curvier side. It seems to me that this store is meant for taller women. Most clothes i took off the rack would just touch the floor. I didn't find much clothes that i thought were attractive in my size. And these are clothes that are used so be prepared to find broken zippers/rips broken straps. If you like to fix clothes, you'd love the store. I didn't like the fact that there are no fitting rooms, I really don't want to buy clothes and find out they dont fit properly at home. Also, they ask if you pay cash or card, it seems like there is a problem when you use a 100 in cash, but they should be prepared for that anyway smh. She said "You'll have to get change in smaller cash then". I mean I thought that's what...
