Horrible experience...
The blond girl with pink highlights should NOT be in a customer facing roll.
She took a minor situation and turned it into a lost customer.
My wife and I have come to this culvers 2-3x a month since its opened and never had a bad experience until tonight.. what should have been a minor thing became awful.
We had ordered and received our food and everything was good to this point... I tore my 2yr old daughters chicken tenders into small bites so they would cool quicker and she could eat them easier... she tried a piece and said "spicy daddy, spicy" I tried a piece and realized they were the buffalo tenders. I walked to the front and let the man who took our order know of the error.
The blond girl with pink highlights came over and helped him and then told me they would bring the new plain tenders to our table... no big deal and I figured the situation was fixed and I was satisfied with the outcome...
About 10 minutes later the blond girl with pink highlights came to our table with the new tenders... rather than just giving us the tenders and saying sorry for the mistake she looked at me and said "uh, I told you I was going to take those (buffalo tenders)" ... I replied "ok?, I don't remember you saying that but whats the issue?"... she replied "well she ate them" and pointed at the pile of torn up chicken tenders" ... I explained "no, I tore them up to cool off for her" ... she mumbled something about "ok, so she didn't eat any of it?"
She then grabbed my daughter's whole meal (fries and chicken) and balled it up in the wrapper it was on... I said "why did you take her fries?" (she didnt bring new fries, just new tenders)... her response was "well I didn't want to touch the food so i grabbed the wrapper" .... I replied "why do you have to take any of the food? It's not like anyone else can eat this" ... her response was "my boss makes me" she then walked a few feet from us and tossed it in the garbage...
Being talked to like we did something wrong when we were given the wrong food is unacceptable. I asked 2 different employees if the girl was the manager or if there is a manager above her both listened to my story but never came back with a manager.
We are very disappointed in the experience we had tonight. A very minor mistake was turned into a horrible experience and a lost loyal customer. All over what should have been a non issue... 2...
Read moreToday we went to store 871, owned and operated by Lanie & Richard Burley posner park location. Today we experience an horrific customer interaction. The gentleman who took our order was extremely pleasant as was the young woman who brought out our food. Once she reached the table we informed her that we forgot to ask for bbq sauce to be placed on my girlfriend’s sandwich. The lady said oh I’m so sorry we charge 0.63 for sauces in which I said that’s fine and I proceeded to the counter to purchase the sauce. At this moment the cashier informed me that the system were down and they had no way of ringing me up for the sauce. A female employee who was behind the kitchen area where food was prepped began to scream and shout at the young man who did not know what to do in the moment. Belittling and chastising him in front of the entire store front and co workers. So loud that my girlfriend came from the table in the back of the restaurant to see what was going on and why there was yelling. The asst manager Destinee came and was extremely pleasant and she was able to get the system back up so they were able to charge me for the one bbq sauce of 0.63. We finished our food and as exiting I stopped to ask for store corp number as I feel horrible for employees having to deal with this. The employees didn’t know and they asked Lanie and she again very rudely said i don’t know he can look it up or get over it. Destinee at this came back to the front and was extremely sweet in attempting to defuse the situation. While she was speaking with me about this Lanie called her to the back and screamed at her saying I don’t have time for this I’m tired and if they want it this bad they can google the store themselves. Destinee came back fighting tears as she apologized again. I have been to several Culver’s and this is by far the worse experience that I have ever had at any Culver’s. If this is how the employees are treated then I do not feel that I can support the company any longer. It takes one bad apple to ruin the experience for all Culver’s. The lack of disrespect and professionalism especially from an owners wife of the franchise makes me question are all Culver’s...
Read moreWorking here at first my experience was very good and I had no issues with any of my managers or my employee’s. But since working here I’ve decided to quit and not come back because of the specific person. Very blatantly disrespectful and doesn’t realize how uncomfortable she makes us workers feel and I know I am not the only one that has felt this way. An incident where I had no idea since i was just brand knew , just starting I was given no training to do this and I would’ve like a little help and I would’ve gotten it on the first try but instead of telling me how to do it she embarrassed me and was very disrespectful and from that day forward she would always give me dirty looks and make comments indirectly about how people don’t know how to do their jobs around here. And would hear her talk about me to other employees. She has done the same about other employees when she feels really mad she likes to talk about them behind her back which I think is very unprofessional. This had made me uncomfortable which I had to go to another manager about which also agreed that she was disrespectful and that people have complained and that I was not the only one that has felt like this. I have no problem with the owner the owner is a very respectful person but his wife really is the only reason why I decided to leave this job. But sadly he does nothing about it but just goes along with it. This was not a very comfortable environment for me I would prefer to work when she’s not there. I have seen her yell at other managers and be very disrespectful towards them and nothing is done about it because everyone is too afraid to say anything because she is the owners wife. I hope that anybody else works there doesn’t tolerate this behavior and I hope she does better because she is the reason that people leave this job. In all the places that I have worked at I have never had a problem with any of my managers like this I’ve been an excellent worker and really disappointed how my experience at this job was.
