Terribly rude unprofessional lying staff! We came for Christmas & stopped for a treat. Having never been to a storefront, we asked about items on the menu. I specifically asked about ingredients in one item, & was told by a rude young lady, "you pick the ingredients you want." So we ordered it. I listed the ingredients we wanted & she said "no! You don't pick ingredients, you get what's in it." I told her nonsense she'd literally just told me to pick ingredients. She then makes a huge fuss and raises her voice claiming she never said that, that she'd told me the ingredients in the item. No she definitely did not tell us a single ingredient, instead telling us to pick our own! This lying employee had MAJOR attitude! She was condescending, rude, caused a scene when we were very calm, and lied! The only reason I didn't walk out was due to my party really wanting ice cream in the hot weather. THEN I asked for water to take my pills. She tells me I have to buy a bottled water she's not allowed to give away free water. What?? Another employee did the right thing & stepped in and gave me a tiny cup of water, and this rude lady saw and nastily said "Don't give them any ice or a refill!" Wth??? Fire this crazy woman asap! Haagen-Dazs is known for good ice cream. That's known worldwide. However it was a terrible experience as there was a moment of absolutely terrible service. I asked for a ice cream popsicle and how much was it. The guy, instead of verifying just said "oh, about 4 or 5 bucks ..." So I took the bait and gave him 4 bucks....he RECEIVED my money (which I told him I only had $4 and he accepted). Then he went to charge me and it was more AFTER they saw me open the ice cream from its container!! And it was Like 6.dollars Why, oh WHY would you tell anyone the wrong price, see them open the package box which contains the ice cream only to say the correct price. I TOLD HIM THOUGH! He shouldn't have gotten me anything and verified the price and from there I would be able to either get the ice cream or buy something else. Mind you it isn't about the money per se, it just sucks how the guy tells me, sees me open the ice cream and then proceeds to tell me the real price after all that KNOWING I dint have more money. Smh TERRIBLE SERVICE for that matter. He gave me my money back and wasn't able to get any ice cream. Gee thanks 😑😑😑.
