Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Harker Heights

I love painting with a twist, and have gone to 3 other locations in Colorado Springs before moving to TX and painting here. I'm giving it 4 stars because 1) they don't have the option to purchase alcohol here. Instead I have to lug a cooler around, which makes taking a Lyft or Uber a bit awkward. (I did see that they are.working on a liquor license posted in the store window though...so.maybe this will change) 2) When they play games, the prizes are paintings by the artists. I'm sorry, but hardly have room on my walls for my own paintings let alone others. At other locations I have been able to choose a free drink, a cup with PWT etched on it, or a pen in the shape of a paint brush. I don't want a painting that I didn't paint! My daughter and I participated in the Paint Your Pet last night. We had a relaxing time together painting our fur babies. The facility was clean and everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived. They were generous with the paint and paper plates for mixing colors. Although, I didn’t have enough time to complete my painting, the instructor told us we could stay after the class time ended - a plus- since there wasn’t another class scheduled in that room, which I appreciated (even though we couldn’t stay) because I would have needed the extra time to complete my painting. We had our Date Night here and had such a fun time! We made some "great" art pieces and wonderful memories! Our instructor was a great and very patient with all us non artists, lol. We will definitely be back for some more wine, laughs, and memories! (2/14) We did go back and took our family of 6 to celebrate ours son's birthday and everyone had a blast and the owner Heather is wonderful and made our son feel extra special!
