Iâve shopped at this store and bought many dresses here over the years for myself and my daughter, including my own wedding dress back in 2000. Weâve usually had a good experience with the staff and a wide selection of dresses and price ranges to choose from. Last night was completely different. First of all, I noticed the prices were generally much higher than even a year ago. Secondly, we were in the store for at least 30 minutes and never once were either of us approached by a sales associate. We needed to buy three dresses between the two of us. My daughter and I split up, looking separately. After not finding exactly what I was looking for, I went to the sales counter where two young ladies were standing idly with no customers. Neither looked up at me or spoke as I approached. I spoke first. âHi. My daughter and I are looking for dresses and Iâm having trouble finding what I need. Can you tell me how the dresses are organized in the store?â Looking annoyed, one girl answered in an exasperated tone, âBy color. . . . . But we only go up to size 16, so you might not find anything.â !!!!! Holy heck! What?!?! First of all, my size is irrelevant. That was a completely and extremely rude and unhelpful answer. Secondly, Iâm nowhere near a size 16, and never have been, but had I been, it was still rude and inappropriate. When I mentioned I was also shopping with my daughter, she asked, âIs she blonde?â I responded affirmatively. âYeah. She asked me if we had a sales section. Sheâs over there,â she said, pointing, letting me know my daughter had also approached for help and received none. In the end, we left empty-handed. We didnât realize the mall closed at 8pm on a Friday night and had arrived just after 7. The dresses on the sales rack were torn, picked, and generally in poor shape. Not just last seasonâs dresses. None of the ones my daughter looked at could have been worn without being repaired by a seamstress. Maybe if weâd had some help and guidance in finding what we were looking for, we could have found a dress. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience. I donât think...
Read moreWe had high hopes for this place, as it was the main reason we went to this mall. There is a LOT of dresses to look at. They are all actually very pretty. However, we had a hard time finding any staff to help us, despite seeing several walking around straightening up racks. I would almost venture to say they were avoiding the customers, as they tended to stay to themselves, pretending to fluff up a rack. Anyway, we found one dress finally to try on, only to find that there was a rip in the shoulder, some sequins were missing along the side, and there was a spot on the back of the dress. So I asked the sales associate at the counter if there were any discount available for this. She said 10% discount and that there are no refunds on the dress. We were surprised that they only gave a 10% discount considering the dern thing is torn!!! They should give at LEAST 20, 30, 40% off. How can you sell a ripped dress and say there's no returns? Here demeanor was nonchalant, like she didn't want to be bothered. We decided NOT to buy it and will be going to a competitor's store where we will probably receive much better service. Also, on a side note, this day, one of their racks was so heavy laden with dresses that it actually toppled over onto a customer!! A woman was in a wheelchair and her friend was pushing her around, and a rack fell on top of her, hitting her in the face with the metal bar. I helped set the rack back up. It was pretty heavy to maneuver. We were all worried if she was okay, she said she was, and the associate was kind to her. But really, does this have to happen? No one was even touching the rack. It just toppled over. They have to take better care of...
Read moreHave been going to this place for years and I even bought my prom dress here. They have a ton of prom dresses, wedding dresses and prom dresses to choose from. Great variety and large dressing room areas. I also used to work in this mall at another clothing store. After looking at the majority or the reviews I had to cringe. Yeah sometimes the staff will be short and even rude, which is not excusable,.... but if you have EVER worked in retail, you should know how demanding and belittling this kind of job is. Especially in a mall! Where u have teenagers roughing it out trying on dresses, stealing accessories, demanding brides who think that one has to drop everything and serve them that instance. You expect one of them to know if they carry a specific shade of blue out of the possible hundred shaded? Please! Yes, go look for yourelf. Also it is against store policy to "take a picture of a dress and send it to a customer". OMG I couldn't believe someone complained about that! That's giving away a person's personal phone number and actually against store policy since they probably aren't allowed to have their phones on them anyway. And if you get mad because there is a huge line?!?! Guess what?!?! Ur in a freaking mall!!!! Everyone else is waiting so you know what?!?! You wait too!!! My god people, grow up!!! Dresses get torn up by other customers just like you. It's retail, in a mall, with not the greatest sophisticated, delicate people walking around in it. Yes if there's not a lot of people and the service sucks, then yeah there's an issue.. but if it's a weekend day and you want personalized service, forget it. It's not logical with 100 other people...
