This is to answer Vanessa, I am the one who jokingly said to Alicia, I see you got a promotion, that Sunday. I am a regular at this Goodwill and Sundays have been crazy for years. You can always expect to find long lines and people with carts of things piled high. It's dollar day and it's madness and everyone who frequents Goodwill knows what Sundays are like. It's crazy and it's fun. And if you're lucky you'll find a huge armoire for a dollar!! And Alicia is a hard worker and friendly with a great personality... And I said that as a joke because I feel sorry for these girls and guys who are put on register on Sunday because they usually get abused by the unhappy customers who are impatient. I just looked at these reviews on this page and I know most of these girls and guys, Alicia, Daniel, Robin, Kim, Theresa, Pam, Frank, Renata,Shawn and the rest.. and every one of them works darn hard, does their job well and are nice and friendly and I love them all... And they have to put up with a lot between customers that switch prices, shoplift, leave things thrown everywhere, people complaining when the store is packed full, etc . I give them all a lot of credit. I had my own store for 20 years and I know what retail is like and what you have to put up with. And it's not easy...This is my favorite Goodwill and they are always busy and always bringing out tons of new inventory. Yes I will complain about the prices along with everyone else, but that is not their fault. Every one of them there does a great job and I'll see you all probably today!! It's like a big family over there between the regulars and the workers and just know that you are all appreciated. Now go rest up because tomorrow is Sunday!! I'll bring you...
Read moreThis store is a mess :/. Almost everything is in complete disarray. Variety of random items just thrown around. Needs better attention and upkeep. I noticed that the clothing at this location is selling on the pricier side. I observed several old, faded, stained items on the racks priced at $10.49 just because it was a name like Nike or similar. If it looks great then of course $10.49 is a good buy. But in those conditions I stated maybe worth $3 at most. It's just sad. If fitting rooms were open I definitely would have purchased several clothing items but wasn't going to risk throwing my money in garbage if something didn't fit right. They need to open up fitting rooms and start pushing clothes out of the store.
I was really excited to come here but I was kind of disappointed. This store could do much better and push out way more with a little effort and better presentation. All in all I would not rave about or recommend this location. Will look to visit other locations in the future instead unless this place makes a huge...
Read moreThis place is the worst! The store is always a mess, full of resellers and the prices are astronomical. I’ve seen many used dirty/broken items priced like it was new in store and dollar store items for $3.99? They also tape and cover damage so you can purchase the item and get screwed with the no returns policy. On top of all of that, the real issue are some of the employees (not all). There is an older woman who hovers over people shopping. You would think she owned the store and actually paid for the free donations. I honestly think she is racist since she came up to me to check my cart for NO reason. The only other people I’ve seen her do this to are other ethnic people. This store used to be a great spot but has gone way down hill and I’m done with it. I added a photo to show the quality stuff they sell here. These sandals were priced at $9.99 and the sole fell off as I was placing them back on the...
