They literally can't sell a Stihl weed whacker after 5pm because the children who work there don't know how. I was prepared to spend $500 on a weed whacker and they said come back tomorrow. Well, I need it at 8am for a job. The manager had zero input and walked away from me as I expressed myself on this issue. If I was the manager of a store I would address the upset customer's needs and offer a solution, not walk away. I will never spend another dollar with Timberline Ace Hardware. Nice people but horrible return policy. I will just buy on Amazon next time, I had used a step ladder for one day and really didn’t like it. I have spent close to $1000 in this store in the past month. On Friday I bought two battery chargers from them. They ended up being 6v instead of 12v. I tried to return them a few days later, but had lost the receipt. They said they could only return if I had a phone number with them. How could I have a number with them if they never asked for it?
