I recently attended a Business Expo hosted by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce at Lee’s Family Forum, and while I didn’t come for a game, I was thoroughly impressed by the venue and how well it accommodated the event. This review is based entirely on that experience, but it left such a great impression that I’m now genuinely interested in returning for a sporting event in the future.
From the moment I arrived, everything was well-organized. The security team at the entrance was professional and efficient, making sure everyone entering the venue was checked and safe. It’s always reassuring to see that level of attention to detail, especially at large-scale events, and it set a positive tone right from the beginning.
What really stood out to me was how the entire lower level of the arena floor was transformed to host the Expo. It was a smart use of space—spacious, clean, and easy to navigate. Each vendor had plenty of room, which made it easy to walk through, stop at booths, and have conversations without feeling cramped or overwhelmed. The flow of the layout made networking a breeze.
In terms of amenities, the venue was spotless, with restrooms conveniently located and plenty of staff around to answer questions or help direct attendees. The lighting and sound were also well-managed, which made the whole experience feel professional and elevated. Even the temperature inside was comfortable despite the size of the venue and the number of people attending.
One unexpected takeaway from the event was how much I enjoyed simply being in the arena. I could really see how amazing it must be during a game or concert. The seating, sightlines, and atmosphere all seem like they’d make for a fun and energetic experience.
Overall, Lee’s Family Forum is an excellent venue, not just for sports, but for business and community events as well. I left the Expo impressed by the event itself but even more so by how well the venue supported it. I’ll definitely be coming back—next time, hopefully for a...
Read moreJust got back from a Silver Knights game here at the Lee Family Forum tonight. I've been here before for a 98° concert as well in addition to various Silver Knights games.
Parking is atrocious. Cars will snake up and down S. Green Valley Parkway because of the slow hand payment required to park here. Honestly, you're better off parking anywhere in The District and walking if you're able to and the weather is right.
I don't even bring a bag anymore but rather have my husband put my license in his wallet because of the bag policy here. Depending on the event, you're going to need to leave your purse in your car or throw it in the trash can outside of the venue. This is especially problematic if you took a ride share here. I've seen women freak out when they weren't allowed to bring their small purse inside and honestly, I don't blame them. X-ray the purse and if it's not holding anything illicit, what is the problem allowing in a clutch-sized bag?
As far as concessions, as a Celiac I'm basically relegated to only beverages. Tonight I asked the staff if the nacho chips and cheese were gluten-free and they told me no. None of the other hot foods could possibly be considered gluten-free so I didn't bother asking. As far as options at the Green Valley grocery concessions, although not certified there were M&M's and cotton candy that may be gluten-free but not guaranteed.
They could be more inclusive if they found even one hot food option that didn't contain gluten, like the nachos, and made sure their staff knew definitively if it was gluten-free. I'm trying to spend money at a game. Please give me something safe to purchase!
The bathrooms are very clean although a trash can at either entrance would be helpful.
Seating is pretty standard and I liked that there is unticketed standing room with a bar top behind the seating area.
Overall, it's not terrible but there are some tweaks that could be made that would make the customer experience more pleasant.

Read moreThe arena itself as a whole is fantastic. I went to the inaugural game for the Henderson Silver Knights. The green space outside is perfect for arriving early and getting pumped up for the game with live music, concessions and games. Security was quick and easy and employees were very helpful. The sound system, lighting, and entertainment is top notch. Just as good as T-Mobile arena but a smaller venue. As far as concessions selection, it was a bit pricey compared to The Orleans in terms of food. Snacks and beer was about the same price. I’m hoping later on they will do food promos nights like other minor league franchises. The restrooms were nice and very well done. The staff were good about keeping it clean.
My ONLY complaint is that the concourse is narrow. During intermissions, post game, and pre-game movement; you are bumping into people constantly. It can be a bit hard to navigate through the crowds as the area is small. Other than that, this arena was very well constructed and really is the gold standard for AHL arenas across the US. The traditionally smaller attendance for AHL games being played in a large AHL arena makes it feel empty. This smaller arena makes it feel like more of a sold out game. It really gets the crowds more easily energized than a large NHL arena. The stadium seating is very nice. Every seat is a good seat. Even with being in the 2nd row from the back, I must be only about 50 ft away from the glass. You feel really close...
