Rollxscape Skating Center — Attraction in Holland Charter Township

I am someone who has been going to this rink since before it was rollerxscape. I haven’t had an issue with teenagers or anything before but today while I was there , the crowds were everywhere a lot of teenagers creating groups and trying to fight each other. It was so bad I had to leave because it was too overwhelming seeing group after group of people arguing and people recording the teenagers and people trying to fight. Simply , the staff did nothing but watch and it drove me insane knowing I had a 13 year old about to see other children fight. I won’t return here again unfortunately and it’s very sad because I’ve seen a lot of the same faces multiple times and have grown to this place. I started my period while skating as well and they don’t have any products in bathrooms or toilet paper to properly clean. I wasn’t the only one complaining about that unfortunately another woman was struggling tonight as well. I loved this place but unfortunately this place has gone down hill with staff and rule...

Came here for our kids birthday. If you dont book a birthday your kids cant bring in their gifts or cake. Also everyone has to pay $12 even if your not going to skate. And anyone under 18 has to rent skates...even if they're not going to skate. Unless youre under 33 inches. Not a certain age...33 inches. So if your kid is just bigger they have to get skates. If you want to book a birthday its only good for 10 people. Its very frustrating that we have to pay just to make sure our kids are safe and to get them food. Bad enough that we had to pay $120 for everyone to get in. And then pay for crappy food on top of that. And then the owners wonder why nobody wants to skate anymore. No more partys here for us. To the owners I would just like to say that its pretty sad that we paid $120 and our kid had to open her gifts in the parking lot. Thats the only money you will be getting from us. We will take our business...

Skating here can be quite fun, feels like you’ve stepped back in time in a way. They have a small arcade with a small prize area as well. Most the prizes are very basic and nothing exciting. Inside you can buy some cafe food and drinks. All drinks and food must be kept in the small area for eating. Would be nice if you could keep your drink near your stuff rather than in the designated area. You can request songs by the DJ booth, be warned, there doesn’t seem to be a “clean” version of many of the songs. So if you have small kids just be prepared. The reason to me they lost two stars was for a rule they enforced to a family coming in to skate. “No gifts inside unless you have a birthday booked through us”….let people come in and celebrate. They are paying customers. Some Families don’t have the money to have an official birthday, but still want to give their kids...
