this is by far the best piercing/tattoo shop i’ve ever been to, and i’ve gone to about six!! the workers are always kind, respectful, and patient. they have a great sense of humor to keep you calm while you get pierced or tatted, and they gladly let you talk about your life while procedures are going on. they use the top quality metals for their piercings, i have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, and this is the ONLY PLACE that my piercings don’t swell, reject, or hurt from. if that’s not amazing enough, their selection of jewelry is incredible. you can choose exactly what jewelry you want for your piercings right from the beginning!! and if they don’t have it, they can order it! steve ALWAYS does perfect piercings. i’ve never had one single piercing go wrong from him. not only are the piercings incredible, but the tattoos are gorgeous! i got my first tattoo done here by lucas, and it is the best quality, and my favorite tattoo that i have. i whole-heartedly recommend this shop. while a lot of people complain about price, trust me guys; it’s worth it. for top quality service, a choice of jewelry, and pure gold or the best implant grade titanium?? you should be willing to pay a little more than Z.ink who can’t pierce a straight line and uses metal with nickel. On a short vacation, we were scrambling to find a place that would not only consider walk-ins or short-notice appointments, but would also allow my friend and I to be there for each other as each of us got tattooed. We called the shop and were given very clear, hopeful instructions from Lucas to send him our ideas and he’d let us know if they could squeeze us in last minute. We tried to remain flexible as the day went on, and he was so amazingly kind to find a way to squeeze us in and we are eternally grateful! The shop was clean, professional, and it was clear they were doing everything possible to protect people during this strange time of COVID-19. Lucas ended up being our tattoo artist and did a wonderful job. He was quick but careful and both our small tattoos have super clean lines. I’m pretty sure he had to stay past his expected shift to fit us in even though he didn’t say it, and it made quite the impression on us. Cannot say enough good things about Steve. I originally called the studio to see if someone could helped me change out a septum from another shop. At my appointment, Steve was honest with me in that the other shop messed up my piercing by doing it way too low on my septum. Unfortunately, Studio Seventeen wasn't doing septums because of Covid, but he did help me and change out the piercing to one that wouldn't hang so low on my nose. He also helped me find some shops in my hometown that could potentially redo the piercing for me.

I came in a few weeks later to have my nostril piercing redone, as it had fallen out a month earlier and I assumed it had closed up when I failed to replace it myself. Steve was about ready to pierce it again when he found that it hadn't completely closed up, and he was able to put in a new stud for me, saving me the $30 piercing fee.

All in all, Steve is an honest guy, great for answering any questions you could have (I had a lot), and just genuinely cares about his business! His cleanliness is on point as well. I wouldn't go to anyone else if you're looking for a piercing in the...
