I wish there was an option for zero stars. I frequent T.J. Maxx primarily for health and beauty needs. 2/24/2020 8:30 pm. I feel I was racially profiled by two employees. One of which name is Jaeline. The other young lady did not want me to see her name tag. I was there to buy perfume that I purchase on a regular. I was told that I had to be escorted to the front to pay. Now. I frequent this particular T.j.Maxx often. I have never experienced this before. At ANY T.J.MAXX at that. Not only did they insist on escorting me to the front. They also after I informed them that this is the way I was going. They made a big scene and it was a totally embarrassing. I was about to change my mind about the purchase, but I thought, why should I? This is what they gave me the impression they wanted me to do. They were very unprofessional and no one else in the store had to be followed around and escorted to the front to make a purchase. Other shoppers were watching and to make matters even worse. I had my daughter with me. For the record. My item was not rang up in the front. I was escorted from the front of the store to the jewelry section to make the purchase. I am writing this review in hopes that NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE ELSE!! SHOULD EVER HAVE TO ENDURE THIS TREATMENT in 2020 or after. I am a U.S. CITIZEN AND A WORKING TAX PAYER!! I and anyone else for that matter has the right to shop freely with out being escorted, followed around, and or profiled. My hopes is that T.J.Maxx headquarters, corporate assures their regular customers and children NEVER have to experience this...
Read moreIt is such a shame that this TJ Maxx has had so much turnover in staff since it opened 2 years ago. Before, customers were greeted by the cashiers with a smile and would make you feel welcomed. Now they are all rude and moody. Last month I opened a credit card at Marshalls which also works for TJ Maxx. I was approved for $4,000 since I have excellent credit. Today, I went in and had to return a couple of items. I also picked up a cute outfit around $40 dollars. Upon walking to the register, a guy by the name of Erick gives me a straight serious look. He had to have asked me at least 4 questions as to why I was returning these two items. He returned the items, but I could tell he was not pleased. I think I will take my business elsewhere. I will stick to my Marshall's next time. They got better selections than TJ Maxx and the staff is friendly...
Read moreListen i just want ya'll to have "human interaction skills" sat hello to customers walking around the store vs only talking to each other. Also this is at every single TJMAXX (I've been to many as we all have) im looking directly at the key paid allow me to pick how I want my receipt choice. Its like ya'll are robots you know how long it takes for the question to pop up on the screen to ask how you want your receipt printed and ya'll are like "choose how you want you receipt" as I'm literally pointing my finger at the screen. I know its habit but it also says I'm a robot we already can't opt out of "do you want to save 10%" . None of these things are deal breakers or specific to just this store i just hope someone sees this and...
