Fabric Mart — Attraction in Honolulu

Great selection of fabric, from Hawaiian prints to traditional fabric choices. I could LITERALLY live here, due to the amount of time it would take to go through all of the choices of this store!! Small store, with a huge selection! We didn’t wait long for our (my friend & I) for our fabric to be cut!

Memorable moment: Venus (beautiful Asian woman/employee), left us with a feeling of warmth as she greeted us on our way out the door!! It felt sincere & honest as her smile!!

Thank you for that LONG lasting impression that I’ll remember when I come back!!

Great fabric selection, but disappointing service.

The designs and fabrics are beautiful — no doubt about that. However, the customer service left much to be desired. As a visitor with limited time in Hawaii, I was hoping for a smoother experience. Instead, I was left to carry large fabric rolls around the store myself, with little to no assistance. The staff came across as quite unhelpful and at times even rude.

A word of caution: pay close attention to how much fabric they cut and what's being charged while you're still browsing — the final bill turned out higher than expected.

It's OK but not great, compared to fabric stores on the mainland. On the other hand, it's probably the best store in Honolulu. It has two floors of fabrics, upholstery and accessories, and notions. The ground floor has a lot of Hawaiian-related fabrics for your shirts and dresses. The selection of Hawaiian prints is great. If that is what you are looking for, this is the best place to start. The prices are reasonable for the island. If you are a tourist, I suggest coming here for Hawaiiana instead of buying at your...
