Five Star Sportfishing Hawaii — Attraction in Honolulu

On the start of Our afternoon session, the boat pulled in and had a lot of Mahi and Wahoo, which was a truly good sign. Boat Captain Ruben was highly professional really got us on the fish and it was an amazing awesome day. Gabe the Deck hand gave awesome instructions to our kids and the adults, spoke about and looked out for hook safety. What was pretty cool was he coached the youngest passenger as she brought in a blue Matlin on her own, Plenty on of fish caught all day, even big fights, and a few that got away! What I really respect about the Team was if a little fish was caught any needed more time to grow they were down to let it go! They truly care about Mother Ocean and whaT she provides to all. Five Star Sport-fishing Hawaii Team were truly Outstanding, even bagged up our fish taking care of us.

Was a last minute trip for my wife and I ,the crew was very accommodating to us. Went over safety very thoroughly, and how to use the chair. This is the perfect place for first timers! We had an amazing trip with some awesome views. Had an awesome time talking with the crew and swapping stories. We hooked into a few fish and got to battle for a bit, however they ended up popping off. Which is not a big deal it’s part of fishing. People need to remember that you can bring a horse to water and but you can’t make them drink. The same goes for fishing you can be on top of the fish with the lure/bait inches from it and it won’t bite. It’s part of fishing. This was an amazing trip and definitely a memorable. I will definitely be joining them next time I’m in Hawaii!

There is no vacuum sealer. It is up to you on how you get your 50lbs of meat home. Please do not take it out on the crew.

We had an awesome trip on the Ruckus with captain Rubin! He helped us find the boat and get settled in for a day on the water with a big cooler inside for our drinks and food. With lines out, the mate explained how to operate the offshore reels and what to do when we get a bite. It wasn't long before a rod went off and we were fighting a nice sized yellowfin tuna! Rubin and his mate quickly got the fish in the boat and had the lines back out for more fish. With just an hour left in our trip, we had another bite and we were hooked up with a blue marlin jumping all around the back of the boat. We fought the fish and the mate released it at the side of the boat. Back at the dock, we got to pick out some cuts of our fresh tuna that Rubin filleted for us. Can't thank these guys enough for an all around great day fishing and can't wait to book with them again in the future. I definitely recommend this boat and crew if you're looking to do some fishing in O'ahu!...
