If you’re on the hunt for truly authentic flavors, Tacos de Cacheton is a food truck you can’t miss. For anyone craving a taste of home, this place hits all the right notes. I recently ordered two tacos: one asada and one al pastor, and let me tell you, they were everything I hoped for and more.
The asada taco was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and packed with rich, smoky flavor that was complemented by just the right amount of seasoning. Each bite tasted like a labor of love, prepared by someone who truly cares about delivering a genuine taco experience. This was no ordinary asada; it reminded me of street tacos you’d find on a bustling corner back home, with each flavor hitting the palate like a memory.
Then came the al pastor, which turned out to be the perfect mix of savory and sweet. With its signature pineapple-infused sweetness, it had just the right balance without overpowering the spice. Every bite brought a hint of sweetness that enhanced the meat’s depth and made the flavors truly unforgettable. This al pastor was everything I’d been looking for, satisfying my craving in a way only something prepared with care could.

Any of the taco meat options (beef, pork, or chicken) with "the works" on top (onion, cilantro, and sauces) are so so yummy! They are $5 each but well worth the price considering the quality of ingredients, the flavors, and the overall satisfaction you're going to feel afterwards.
Accidental find in the Kaka'ako Farmers Market parking lot near Kewalo Basin. Odd hours but lots of parking available as well as sit-down dining options.
Staff working were fun and quick with the food. Look forward to trying their other menu item next time,...

The taco was listed as $4, but we were charged $5. Might have been the sub for pork. Ultimately, it's a very small taco (standard) but the taste wasn't anything to write home about. We live in Hawaii but does it really need pineapple? Unfortunately, it overpowered the flavor of the meat and salsa. A simple lime garnish would...
