We had a very decent Penang Curry here tonight. Initially, it was bursting with all the right flavor, until the sweetness overwhelmed the senses, coating everything and was all we could taste. The flavor of the curry was fantastic. But it was also very sweet, way too sweet to be authentic Thai food. It’s tough to write this review because it could be a solid five-star food truck review but there are several things I must pick at, other than the excessive use of sugar. This place is all tech and nearly contactless, except for the use of the technological ordering system, which requires one to touch the screen. Because of the reliance on said technology, no one in the truck turns to acknowledge you or answer any questions. The serving containers are way too big for the portion size. So although you’re paying for $20 of food, the curry container is 3/4 full and the rice is 1/2 full. Photos will confirm this. If the containers were smaller, or if they contained more food, then it wouldn’t feel as though one didn’t receive their full serving size. Price point is steep for what it is. It’s a food truck. But the price point is brick and mortar. TL;DR: too sweet, good flavor, expensive.

Honestly, kind of an amazing place. It's located at the wooden food truck area, which is actually pretty nice. The truck has a nice ordering screen. It has vegan options. I've often been surprised at how much I enjoyed my meals here. I'm addicted to their vegan / Ganesha larb at the moment. Best of all, Thai hot is actually hot here! Not as hot as I'd like, but I'm used to Thai hot at a lot of places not even registering. Actually, they're willing to go even hotter if you get to know them! It's on the wooden food truck court, which is kind of a cool place with wood tables. The setting is really my only complaint, as there are flies and sometimes the tables aren't totally clean. Not this restaurant's fault. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is not Gluten Free and Vegan friendly. Uber Eats lists it as a Vegan restaurant however I guess even if you ask for something to be made Vegan they are unable to make the food without Animal products? I ordered the Thai Basil Rice and asked to be made with No Egg and The Pad Thai which I guess contains a sauce with Gluten? Could have been made with no sauce or just oil. This restaurant did call but my phone battery was low and was unable to answer. I do think they should have made products to specifications and just have taken out any animal or gluten products especially since if you type "Vegan Gluten Free" in the Uber Eats search bar the restaurant pops up.

Went to this place to try out the food truck as we have been trying out the others throughout the week, but my younger son didn’t want to eat that kind of food so we stopped by jack-in-the-Box to get him food. We sat down on the table in the area of the food truck as we were settling him in to eat, then a guy in the food truck said: “Jack-in-the-Box, really?” I asked him: “do you want us to move?” He said “yes!”. My other son said: “we were gonna buy food from you, but I guess we shouldn’t”. Then we moved away to another table closer to another food truck from which we ended up buying food. He followed us, and we noticed he had a beer in his hand. He still came up to us and my youngest son told him to stay away from us. He continued being rude to us. He told my youngest son: “you think you’re big”. My wife arrived to the scene and heard what he said. She immediately responded: “you’re the one that started off bad. What do you expect us to say? You’re the one that’s being rude to us”. He finally walked away, but sadly, it was a bad experience for us when we in fact like to support street vendors. Would had been nice to try his food to really review it, but he didn’t give us a chance. The Mexican food trip next-door was really good on point the two young boys paraprofessional.. I went there last year in September. There was a lot more food trucks. I don’t know if they’re struggling but this is not a way to conduct business by kicking up...

I had a horrible experience at Elephant Thai Shack. While trying to place an order, a staff member lost their temper and went on a racist rant at us and demanded that we leave immediately.

This entire behavior stemmed from the employees inability to do basic math and give us a paper receipt when the POS system was not working. When we offered to help, and asked for a receipt to explain why we owe him the bizarre amounts he was asking from us, he lost his cool, and went on his racist and profanity filled rant.

While this experience was bad, I also want to give the owner credit where it’s due. My last time I came to this place, I had a great experience with both the food and the service and would never recommend someone skip this place.

However this particular employee’s behavior was absolutely unacceptable. I am willing to communicate with the owner to tell them about this experience in detail, and personally hope he takes the appropriate steps to ensure no one else ever experiences this!

I am also making this very clear that we do absolutely demand an apology from this employee and the owner for our experience. If it was just the employee having a bad day and had a slight outburst I would have been nicer and more balanced in my review. But in 2024, I refuse to tolerate overt and...

I had an unfortunate experience during my recent visit. The individual managing or working at the establishment displayed unprofessional and aggressive behavior, which severely impacted the dining experience.

Specifically, I witnessed an incident where this person physically pushed a customer who had voiced a complaint about their food being overly salty. This behavior is unacceptable and reflects a lack of basic customer service skills.

Additionally, there were issues with food availability. The restaurant ran out of steaks, yet instead of offering a clear resolution (such as reimbursing the price difference for a cheaper substitution), the staff repeatedly pushed the offer of Thai tea without addressing the concern.

Other issues included limited beverage options—Coke or water only, with no alternatives listed—and a poor interaction where the individual appeared to take issue with my facial expression upon learning of the limited options. The focus seemed less on serving customers and more on asserting authority or teaching lessons, which is not appropriate in a customer service environment.

Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. I hope the management can address these issues to improve customer satisfaction and foster a more welcoming...
