Don't be fooled by this "tour" of the Arizona Memorial and Battleship Missouri w Karma Tours. We paid $420 for 3 of us (including a 15% discount or else it would've been $495). The ONLY thing they did was drive us to and from the site! (We actually WANTED to drive ourselves and meet up with the tour guide there but they said it is not allowed. Ok but it turns out you absolutely COULD drive there, and pay $7.00 to park. And those cars were actually parked closer than the shuttles. No biggie, but surprising.) But most importantly, we did NOT have a tour guide at all. Just a shuttle driver who brings you there, points to the building where to watch the film & where to catch the ferry to the memorial (same building, that everyone sees, it was obvious) and that we need to meet him back at the shuttle at 3pm. That's IT. The entire day was without a guide. We even had to purchase the audio headphones so we could learn detailed info along the way. And the cost to get in, when you purchase online at recreation.gov is ONE DOLLAR (and the Battleship Missouri would be $39.) Clearly, we thought we would get something more than a shuttle to/from the site for $420!!! When we expressed our dissatisfaction and that we felt misled by the tour, they actually lashed out at us. A man named JOHN came yelling at us, pointing his finger in my face. He was abusive, loud and rude when I explained that we didn't need to pay them for a "tour" when we didn't even have a tour guide. He said we HAD to get tickets through them, that it's impossible to buy a ticket to the Arizona. We said no, you can get it online. He said that we were "lying" and that they are all sold out online for same day. I said we could've purchased them several weeks ago and not paid them all this money for only a shuttle ride. He said well, you should've done that then. (Whaaat??!) This representative of Karma Tours, John, was awful, yelling at clients. It was shocking and absurd. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. This was a horrendous way to be treated. I hope the owner of Karma contacts me bc this was the worst experience I have ever had with a tour company, and I've booked many, many tours throughout my 51 countries I've visited. PS - we confirmed our pickup time of 9:45am three times (the night before & twice in the am), but at pick-up, this "John" said we're not on his list, that our name is at 8am, rushed off saying I can't take you. C'mon... We got another shuttle 15 minutes later, fine, getting us to the site at 10:15am. Then we were told that we can't see the Arizona Memorial until 11:45am. A bumpy start.

Karma Tours Hawaii was recommended by another tour agency that I'd reached out to. Thankfully, I followed on the recommendation, Karma Tours didn't disappoint. I did a last minute booking for a private tour for my family visiting from NJ. The private tour includes the Mercedes Metris van which was super comfortable, preferred pick-up location and a customized tour. Our tour guide/driver was Rudy. Rudy was awesome. He was on time, a safe driver and knowledgeable. He took us to the scenic spots and our Pearl Harbor tour reservation. He also drove us around North Shore which was full of tourist in all corners. We were also lucky to spot a huge turtle on the shore in one of the beaches. Of course the trip wouldn't be complete without some Leonard's Malasadas, Kona coffee, macadamia nuts and fresh fruits from local vendors. Sadly we weren't able to make it to Dole Plantation but I guess its something we could do next time my family visits again. Doing an entire tour of the island is really a good choice, a little pricey but still a choice I would do again. Keep in mind, as much as you wanted to do it all in day or in one tour, its kinda not possible since tourist spots are scattered all over the island and Oahu traffic is sometimes unbearable. The best part of the tour was we all enjoyed it without the stress of figuring out where to go while facing the crazy driving situations here in the island. Rudy /Karma Tours took all those worries away. I would definitely avail there services again the next time my other side of the family comes to visit. Thank you Karma Tours. Thank you Rudy!

Hi, My family of 6 booked this tour. They contacted us the night before saying that we couldn't be picked up at the predetermined location, then they asked if we could meet at 7:30am(not the time we booked, we paid EXTRA for the 8:30 timeslot). We were off of the Waikiki strip and closer to the base. We had originally asked if we could be picked up at our hotel, we were told no. Told of this last minute time change, we asked if they could pick us up at our hotel. They agreed and gave us a half an hour window to be picked up. No one showed up. I called, I was told that the bus could not pick us up. We asked if we took an Uber to the base, could we still meet up with the tour. They said yes. We took an Uber to the base, and waited. Finally some guy showed up, took us to the gate for the tour, told us that the bus driver we were supposed to have NEVER SHOWED UP TO WORK. He told us we had no guide, and that we'd get an email with our tickets. No return transport was provided or offered. So, at the end of the day, we spent $500 on 6 tickets to get in to the site. No transportation, no guide, no information. A terrible and hectic experience. Update: Partial refund provided. Review updated accordingly

i booked this tour with Karma Hawaiian tour through an app, to say the least it was a horrible experience from the Karma Hawaiian tour guide named Finny, he treated everyone like children and talked to us like we didn’t have any common sense with direction, basically like a bunch of kids in kindergarten by telling us to sit in specific spots in the bus and not to sit where we wanted to or needed to. he threaten us if we didn’t return back to the bus at the specific time he would leave us there and we would have to get a taxi back. once i was walking back to the bus i heard him joking around with a couple of the guest and another tour guide so i decided to join in on the humor and i repeated the same exact thing Finny said to the other tour guide and added i need to get into the bus and needed some AC because it was hot. i laughed smiled and winked when i said it, a few minutes later finny came back into the bus and called me out in front of the entire bus of people and stated to me i was offensive and rude by what i said and he didn’t appreciate what i said to the other tour guide. i was mortified insulted embarrassed and humiliated by him doing this in front of the entire bus and assuming what i said to a total stranger would be a rude insulting comment rather than just a joke. so i called him over and explained to him that exact thing and that my statement was a joke and that i was playing along with the joking around that he was doing. i also explained to him that him assuming that about me was the wrong thing for him to do especially when i smiled laughed and winked when i said it, i told him that i felt he was being rude to me by calling me out in from of the entire group of people in the bus. that’s when he threaten to kick me off the bus and told me i could take a cab back to my hotel and he had the right to do that to me if he wanted. i was humiliated and embarrassed by his actions and it destroyed and ruined my experience of a memorable day that i paid a lot of money for to have this experience at Pearl Harbor. Finny was a horrible and unprofessional person and tour guide. i would not recommend Karma Hawaiian tours due to this unprofessional tour guide that this tour guide gave...

DO NOT book with this company. FIRST THING—to book the USS arizona it is $1 online (only 24 hrs in advance) and free with a standby wait. Parking is $7. you really do not need to pay this much if you have means of transportation there and back. this company stated on the voucher that this was a GUARANTEE to see the uss arizona with provided transportation to and from pearl harbor. this was not what happened at all. pickup was not clear, and they can pick you up anywhere from 10:30-11:30, with us waiting around 45mins for a ride to pearl harbor then being picked up closer to 12! an uber would have been cheaper and faster. When we get there our driver leads us into the national park, gives everyone a briefing, then when we are ready to get on the ferry to see the uss Arizona, he finally tells my family and another family that the company overbooked and they do not have our tickets…this would have been helpful information before we even got on the tour bus! so therefore, they lied in their vouchers, knew they didn’t have enough tickets to accommodate their customers, before they picked us up, and STILL they let us get on the bus. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT GUARANTEE USS ARIZONA TICKETS. this was very stressful as we all thought everything was booked for us; the driver exclaims this has never happened before, when in reality lots of other reviews have a similar experience than mine. So, we end up having to wait on standby with a time limit of 2 hours until we have to leave, wondering if we’re going to be able to do what we came here to do. it was a very stressful time and definitely not worth the money. On the way back my family was yelled at for asking a karma tour driver questions on how we can approach this problem. Very unprofessional. I even called them to see what they will do to accommodate this mistake on their part and all Nicole told me was that they will give me a call back. This has been a waste of time and unnecessary stress. again, please avoid this company they are unprofessional and lie to...
