Prior pandemic we were robed while slept, the cameras outside weren’t functioning (still arent)and I didn’t complain nor said anything. Pandemic hit and company did not offer no relief. Now we’ve have mold and leaks in our shower and management has sent a plumber but its been over a month and it hasn’t been fixed. We are actively paying our rent even though our shower is clearly unsafe. Property manager hasnt been concerned about our safety nor has offer us another unit even though there’s plenty available. Our rental agreement and rent rate includes a functional bathroom, even though we do not have one we are still charged full amount. In my years of renting I have never encountered anything like this.

I had signed a lease for a furnished studio in Island Colony through them and had a traumatic experience due to the condition of the furniture. When I moved in on Feb 1st, the mattress (covered during the viewing) looked like it had been picked up from trash. They also left several greasy/junk items in the lanai without any heads up. I reached out expressing my concerns and decided to move out after a couple days. I still haven't gotten a single apology and they made me pay for half the month and took a lease break fee. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Divona Cox, a highly skilled property manager at a prominent property management company in Honolulu. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with Divona's exceptional communication skills, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for her clients. She truly went above and beyond to ensure a remarkable experience.

Right from the beginning, Divona demonstrated her expertise and professionalism. Her prompt response to my initial inquiry was greatly appreciated, and her willingness to address all my questions and concerns immediately put me at ease.

Throughout the entire process, Divona's warm and friendly approach made me feel valued as a client. She consistently maintained open lines of communication, ensuring that I was well-informed at every stage. Divona's responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile to address any issues that arose truly set set her apart. Her dedication to keeping me updated and informed on every step of the property management process was truly remarkable.

What truly impressed me about Divona was her genuine care for her clients' well-being. She took the time to understand my unique circumstances and worked tirelessly to ensure that every decision made was in my best interest. Divona's ability to empathize and provide guidance during the decision-making process made me feel confident and supported.

Divona's expertise in property management shines through in her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Overall, my experience with Divona Cox and the property management company in Honolulu was nothing short of excellent. Her exceptional communication skills, friendly nature, and genuine care for her clients make her an invaluable asset to the company. Not company specific

Hands down, the WORST realtor experience I have encountered, and that's even before the showing. I usually don't write negative reviews, but Buyers/Sellers beware of LINDSEY "BRAT" ITAMOTO. Nothing negative against the company but her personality and customer interaction was absolutely unprofessional and she shouldn't be in an industry where you deal with people. I almost felt like I was dealing with a 14 year old over the phone....short, rushed, bossy, no understanding that potential clients work and can't cough up an available time instantly, sarcastic, and rude.

After requesting a viewing over their website, my cell phone rang non-stop until I picked up the phone. I stated I was at work and would call her back, where in return she said this would only take 10 seconds. 2 showings were in her schedule for the following day, both I couldn't confirm over the phone, and said I would call her back in the morning around 7 after I knew what my schedule at work was....she told me she wasn't sure she would be awake at that time and to leave a message.

7 the next morning rolls around and I wasn't able to let her know which of the 2 showings I could attend. I get a phone call from her and she said she was at the listing (first showing with no confirmation from me) and how long it would be before i got there. Me still at work, thankfully was able to head her way, but would take 15-20 mins to get there. Once I arrived, no parking was available and then I receive a text that only a certain amount of time was allotted for the showing and she had to leave in 10 mins. I pull up to the building where I'm welcomed as "Mr. Sunshine", and with less than 10 mins to tour, just decided to leave.

Folks, take your business to a different realtor if you want a better experience. NO ALOHA WITH...

I moved into a unit that was being managed by Locations in April 2022. The property manager who was assigned to the unit was impossible to get a hold of, and also failed to provide me with a preinspection check list prior to moving in. I had tried to get a hold of her but she never answered or was never in office. The following year when it was time to renew, there was a different manager. He came by and did an inspection, annotated some issues he said were responsibility of the owner and not myself, and gave the thumbs up to renew my lease. I was never given a copy of the things he annotated and apparently nothing was put into Locations system about any discrepancies found during inspection, and the owner never organized to fix any of those discrepancies. When I renewed my lease for a second time (year 3), nobody came by to do an inspection. At this point we were given a new property manager. Fast forward to April of this year, of the $1900 security deposit, I was only refunded $598. I tried explaining that there was no preinspection done upon the signing of my initial lease, and only one inspection done for my first renewal. My wife and I took care of the apartment, with minor wear and tear that is expected when living in a house/apartment (scuff marks, deep cleaning, fresh coat of paint, etc.). Any issues that I communicated with the first 2 property managers apparently fell on deaf ears, and were not even annotated in their records to at least show evidence that an issue was brought up by me.

Locations failure to do proper inspections of their units is a big red flag for anyone who uses them to manage their property, and to any tenants who take care of their units and expect all or most of their security deposit back. I will never utilize them as a landlord, or lease a property...
