If I could I would give it 0 stars. We decided to check this off our bucket list & it almost turned into the last thing we ever did. The crew never said what may happen if you lost the wind & ended up in the ocean. They were more concerned with which bar they were going to go to watch the fight that night. I understand that you can lose the wind & end up in the water but we fell from a good height & coming up got tangled in the lines & 1/2 out of the harness in oversized life jackets that were coming up over our heads, barely keeping our heads above water. The "captain" then decided to try pulling us up by accelerating the boat which drug us back deeply under water. Not once but 3 times. Finally the other guy that was taking pictures jumped in to help us. The captain tried again right away sending us all under. Finally we were freed & swam to the boat & the comment between them was "this always happens to old people". While were are not 30 something (60) the comment was unprofessional & insulting. Out of breath, exhausted & shaken up they asked if we needed to go to the hospital & rushed us to shore. They set us on the bench next to their booth, gave us water & finished taking care of the other customers reviewing the photos & getting the other 2 couples back out (I think 1 couple declined). The crew told the lady working the booth to refund our money & give us the photo card at no charge. Her response was continually saying they can't be responsible for the wind & would void our charge & handed us the photo card. At home we tried to view it on our camera. It said it couldn't be used. Tried the computer-no images. Took it to a photo shop-no images so we called & the lady accused us of perhaps erasing them as she remembered showing us the photos & they were on there when she gave it to us. That was a lie-we sat on the bench the whole time shaken & exhausted. Never did she ask us to look at pics. I asked to speak to the owner she then said there was no one else to talk to & hung up on us. This is the rudest person we encountered in Hawaii. They may have 40 yrs experience but it isn't apparent if anything goes wrong. We were willing to chalk this near death experience up to an unfortunate event until we were insulted & lied to. The crew was not experienced in rescues & lack professionalism. The person at the booth is rude & careless...
Read morei went to hawaii for my 1st time with my sister, mom, & dad. we wanted to experience parasailing! just my sis & i tho haha. there were several red flags at hand with this place. i don’t even have to get into all of them, but let me tell u the main one. we were on the boat with 2 other parties. when they were parasailing, the photographer AUTOMATICALLY took photos of them. when we went (last), we didn’t see him taking any photos. when we came down, they said the photos would be ready in the office — we went & the super nice young lady was saying how she didn’t have our photos. the boss proceeded to say that if we didn’t ask, we wouldn’t get them. IT WAS NOT AN AUTOMATIC SERVICE. she was rude & short. the photographer came by & essentially said he messed us up with the other family whose parents said they didn’t want more photos of their kids because they had enough photos. IT WAS A MISTAKE ON THEIR END, but the boss continued to make excuses & gaslight us into thinking we had to ask. no compensation when we asked. a simple, genuine advice would have sufficed. the captain came by & said he gave a speech about photos & he did not (or he did so quietly) because the other family we talked to, said they didn’t even get asked for photos & they got them. the dad then said he did get asked, but his other family members seemed unaware & so were we. the young photographer was honest. he felt bad, but the boss & captain were making excuses. i proceeded to tell the rest waiting for our boat, “ask them for pics! otherwise they won’t take them.” thanks for a mood! we paid the highest package to get the lowest experience. if it was an “automatic service,” why did the captain & photographer all tell us to get our photos. they were unprofessional & not going to lie, they only talked to the other white family about where they are from when we...
Read moreOur group's parasailing adventure was experienced by 3 adults (1 in early 60s and 2 in mid 30s) and 1 eleven year old boy. Once our reservation was made, their communication with us before hand was excellent with everything from proof a purchase to reminders to evergreen directions how to drive to their location. Upon arrival, the lady who met us at their dockside point was very friendly and professional as she walked us through signing the pre-trip safety documents. Once it was our time to 'sail', we were welcomed aboard by the boat's Captain and his crew member. These gentlemen were outstanding in their explanation of what would happen and making sure we were outfitted equipment wise very securely. They took extra time to make sure the young boy in our group was very comfortable and ready to go. We had booked the highest/longest line at 1000ft and soon we were off taking our turns in side by side tandem rides. Wow! What a ride and view! We evergreen for a couple of 'dips' into the water and raised back up. Bottom line is we had an outstanding time with absolutely incredible views. We really recommend then and would not hesitate to use their services again. A side note is they allow you to bring your own camera phone on board but they also take at least 100 pictures of their own (160 with our group of 4) which they show you at the end and seek you for $40). A great time...
