If I could give 0 stars I would. Upper management is terrible, specifically the OPERATONS MANAGER. No support and a staff full of lies. Will promise promotions and raises and management titles and never deliver. Certain employees are treated like gold and not held to the same standards as the rest of the staff. Management will punish certain employees, but let other employees get away with the exact things they punished other staff members for. Air conditioning barely works in over half the store. 95+ degree heat most summer days in Arkansas, and you would expect a nice, cooling experience while shopping at a "high-end" retail store, but what you really get is a hot, stuffy store where employees and guests are both sweating from just walking around. I could go on all day with reasons why you should stay away. OH! LETS NOT FORGET OPENING THE STORE AND MAKING THE EMPLOYEES STAY ON THE CLOCK, WHILE THERE IS NO POWER, MEANING NO AC, AND FORCING THEM TO WORK IN THE DARK, AND MISERABLY HOT CONDITIONS. I'd say it's time for a management change, to...
Read moreNot as big as other big city Dillard's. They have a whole shrine dedicated to Miss Me jeans and SPANX. Their sales associates can be annoying sometimes. The shoe and jewelry section is fairly small but their children's and men department make up for it. They sell a large amount of different perfumes, but not as many as other Dillard's. The makeup counters are also very generic (Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Clarins) with a couple of random stands thrown in. They do not have a MAC counter (which is a huge marketing mistake) or a Chanel or Bobbie Brown.
The carpets are a little dingy and grubby, so don't let your kids crawl all over them.
The customer service is always hit or miss. When you just want to shop, there are a million sales associates annoying you, but when you need one, none are...
Read moreI bought some shoes that were said to be comfortable for nurses, etc. I don't understand why there isn't a comfort guarantee. The guarantee is only if the shoes are unworn. How does one determine their comfort if you can't wear the shoes? I tried them on at the store, and they seemed all right. I wore them around the house for a couple of weeks, and it really bothered the ball of my right foot. I tried to return them to get my money back, but was only allowed to exchange them for a different pair. They said there was some wear on them. Unfortunately, most stores that sell shoes have similar guarantees. If I hadn't needed to get a specific style, then I'd have gone to the New Balance Store which does have a comfort guarantee. This is why I hate shopping...
