fire and ice ( In the mall)
as usual I find myself lost in thought ,as I think about what to write, I know my one little opinion won't make or break a place, but I really want to be fair, but honest and transparent at the same time. a casual chat with the staff and you can tell there's a lot of effort and hope put into this venture. so let's get to this.
service: 3.75/5 we arrived maybe about 10 minutes before opening because there's not much to do in the mall.
even after they got things going and customers started coming by...it felt a little disorganized but all the staff there were super kind, super attentive... so I really can't complain.
food 4.0 /5 a few hits and misses... but there's plenty of variety if there was something you didn't like. the buffet is staff served, you get one meat entree and then all the veggies and sides that you want as many trips as you want... bonus some of the stuff I probably would consider an entree, chicken pot pie, shepherd's pie ,were considered sides and not entree.
soda does not come with the buffet but for less than 2 bucks they're not overcharging you like most other buffets would.. they do offer tea included and I don't know if it's cuz they were just getting set up or what but I was served unsweet tea which honestly was surprisingly drinkable which was unusual but then the young lady went and put sugar into the unsweeted tea in the glass ..so sweett tea purists probably wouldn't be happy but I happily drink it as it was cold and wet and doable.
The French press Black rifle beyond dark coffee was phenomenal... it was the first coffee that my 17 year old has happily drunk black... he was completely mind blown.
atmosphere: 3/5 they did the best they could with the spot they had ,but it's a small spot so they're at the mercy of the temperature of the mall which nobody's going to maintain that... that's a tad bit chilly but it wasn't off putting honestly.
all in all I would absolutely recommend this place is it going to be Ryan's s or a Wood grill buffet ,not really but it's definitely worth visiting! .. disclaimer to keep the food fresh and work around the malls hours they're only currently offering lunch I want to say like 11:30 to 2:30 I think... they wish they could do more but it...
