7/27/25 DO NOT GO HERE FOR A PRENATAL MASSAGE. It took me a while to even process what I just paid for once I left. I showed up early after booking online, thinking that was what I've always done at other establishments. (Limited instructions given when booking online). Person behind the counter smelled like cigarettes when I entered which was my first sign that this place was not the zen spa I had hoped for. The "spa" is run down and in no way relaxing. I was asked to wait in an area that also looked like it served food with a large ice machine and TVs everywhere.. just because you play calming music, it doesn't make the lackluster decor and ambiance more enticing. I was greeted right at my appt time and taken to the same room that my massage would be in. I was never given a robe or hot towel the entire time and rushed through changing and getting on the table. I was there for a prenatal massage, however no extra time was given for me to go to the bathroom, change, or get on the table. Unlike most places, your appt time starts immediately and if you have to go to the bathroom, well that uses your time.. and you aren't given a robe so I guess I would have worn a sheet to the bathroom down the hall? No hooks or even a designated place to put your clothing and the rooms were makeshift at best. It literally looks like fabric stapled to the ceiling and poor quality murals on the walls. My bed was propped with a rag underneath one leg which made me question how sturdy it would be. (I wish I would have taken pictures as I don't feel like I'm explaining just how poorly set up/ outdated the rooms and equipment are) I am bolding this next part so that it will catch your eye as this is a lengthy review. THIS PLACE IS NOT SET UP TO DO PRENATAL MASSAGES as advertised on their website. In fact, their site is a complete 180 from what you actually receive in real life. My therapist tried to make accommodations with the limited resources they had but it was obvious they do not do these often.. (also a bed with a hole in it that you never use does not mean you are equip to doing prenatal massages) and that made me nervous and in no way relaxed. This review has nothing to do with the therapist and everything to do with a poorly run establishment that is cutting corners and deceiving people. I honestly feel like they need to be on one of those tv shows that exposes businesses with an undercover customer filming their experience, so that people can really see how bad it is. At the end, gratuity was added to my bill without telling me- I had to prompt. There was also a half full cup of water sitting on the counter at checkout and I had to ask if that was for me. My advice for this place is to walk across the street to any of the establishments there and ask for a tour. Take notes of their setup and how they greet customers when they enter. See how the rooms are designed, and get a feel for the standard people expect to receive from a quality spa. They use the term "spa" too loosely, in reality this is a MEDIOCRE MASSAGE PARLOR. I look back at the website now- the picture of the pregnant woman lying on her side so relaxed with a flower in her hair and laugh out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBooked ahead for a couple's thai-fusion massage. I am a former massage therapist myself, so can sometimes be a little hard to please. I received a wonderful Swedish massage, which disappointed me a little (I didn't feel like there was any "thai massage") my therapist did a great job of finding trouble spots I hadn't even mentioned, but spent very little time on the spots I specifically requested. In other words, it was relaxing but not what I had wanted.
My significant other had never had a professional massage before (except for short spot work from me) and he says he did receive some stretching but since a stranger was a new experience he couldn't stop himself from "helping" rather than relaxing. He felt we would have been better served requesting deep tissue rather than fusion, and unfortunately he probably will not be willing to try again on our next trip, as he felt he spent a lot of money to not get what we expected.
Staff was welcoming and professional and did swedish well. I do not know if this location has any specialists outside of Swedish or "Thai-fusion" (such as trigger point, medical/sports, trager etc). I assume not as there was very little paperwork regarding info for rehab-type modalities.
The waiting room and desk area was a little small for how booked they were, but to be fair it was a holiday weekend, and most people are not as sensitive to crowds as we are.
Water was available before, in the waiting area, and was awaiting us at checkout, with appropriate encouragement.
Spot hot towel treatments and aromatherapy exposure was also included. I recommend noting any sensitivities or aversions to either on the paperwork near "any allergies?" ...I did say I had fibromyalgia when booking the appointment but no questions whether I would be triggered by either (or really anything) was brought up, and i assumed (wrongly) that silence meant my therapist would err on the side of caution, so was unprepared and jolted.
Although my review is critical, it was definitely a relaxing experience during the massage. I just felt we didn't receive what we requested/expected. If you are seeking a pampering experience rather than therapeutic, this is definitely...

Update 10-3-2023⦠in all of the experience I have had at spas this one is truly the worst. After I put this review up I received a call from a lady at this spa who I assume is the manager. She asked about my experience I explained that I paid for 2 1/2 hours we were taken back at 11:00 am and was was dressed out of room and card ran at 1:05. This is nowhere near 2 1/2 hours. I am also told her all about the things in this review as well.I explained that my wife told the therapist she did not want certain parts of her body touched like her stomach and let me say it was for a reason. The therapist here do not UNDERSTAND THAT NO MEANS NO. I was told she needed to to talk to the therapist to see what happened. I never received a call back. So I called leaving several messages. I called yesterday and see answers I asked if she. Had a chance to look into what happen. This is what I was told. There is nothing we can to at this time to make things right. I am sorry but you should not have left a google review. So basically as long as you do not let others know how bad the service is at this place they will give you a refund on a service that technically you didnāt get but paid for! Please do not wast your time and money here YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOUR PAYING FOR! The ONE THING IN ALLOF THIS IS NO MEANS NO! If I tell you I DO NOT WANT A PART OF MY BODY TOUCH DONāT TOUCH IT ITS ASSULT AT THAT POINT. THE MASSAGE BOARD WILL BE MY NEXT CALL! I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU FOR TOTALLY MESSING UP MY WIFES FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH MASSAGE!
This was not worth the price! I booked 2.5 hours and did not get that much time. In this couples massage one of the therapists kept leaving the room, dropping stones on the ground making a lot of noise, she also asked if I wanted scub on my stomach I told her but she did it anyway. The therapist were not in sync one finished 10 mins before the other. The one that finished earlier left the room leaving my wife to wait. The one finished later barely massaged me at all. For 800.00 dollars I expected...
