Absolutely the most terrible experience I've every had with a private adoption. I had heard some good things about him when I initially inquired, but I soon found out that was because of the overwhelming amount of CPS adoptions he does. I'm sure those are pretty easy to do when CPS does most of the work and you're doing lots of CPS adoptions, it's like a breeze. But he Absolutely knows nothing about private adoptions. So many times the judge had to have us resign documents because him and his staff repeatedly did something wrong. We went through 2 years with them and this adoption case. Ultimately at the very end, the adoption was thrown out because of a misunderstanding the judge had and allegations that weren't true that could've easily been cleared up with proof from his client. But the judge was already pretty irritated with him and his staff, and he had no intentions of backing us up. The day of adoption, he called and yelled at me, very unprofessional, and never tried to ask about the misunderstanding. He simply told me it'll be 3 years or more, if ever, before I could adopt my child. Glad I didn't listen.
