At first I was not going to leave a review, but every time I’ve washed my hands in the past 24 hours, majority of my fingers have been burning and reminding me of my experience yesterday (see photo of what my hands looked like when this review was written). This was the worst manicure experience of my entire life. While the tech was nice, I am shocked at the lack of professionalism and critical thinking. He boasted having 20+ years of experience and owning his own salons prior to working here, only to completely butcher cuticle on FOUR fingers. Four of my fingers had to be covered with ointments and Band-aid, because they were bleeding and cut. The tech did not even try to offer me bandaids or alcohol after the service was finished and you could see blood all around the nails. Three more fingers that are not covered with bandaids in the photo still burn because they have micro cuts and have been inflamed and red. Only by the end of the appointment did the tech mention that I had very thin and dry cuticle, which has been mentioned by others to me, but all the prior techs have been more gentle and careful with my cuticles as a result. I don’t understand how my tech after making my cuticles bleed on at least two fingers of my left hand then proceeded to cut up more fingers on the right hand. This was the most horrendous experience also because I did not see my tech pull out a brand new pack of sanitized tools like I’ve seen at other salons; he just pulled out the same dusty clippers from the drawer that did not look cleaned. This was a beyond uncomfortable and scary experience. Needless to say I will not be coming back, and do not recommend this place anyone, especially if you have more delicate cuticle.

Two stars due to owner's mother being weird if not outright racist and spending over 3 hours in the salon. We came on a busy Saturday for a pedicure and full set. Instead of telling us the wait would be over an hour, they sit us down and remove our shoes and make me wait 45 mins to start on my toes (and my bf over an hour). We didn't get offered beverages until an hour in. While getting my pedicure, my technician's regular walks in and she speeds up quickly so my pedi is literally only 15 minutes (they didn't even ask me what pedicure I wanted) and they don't finish my toes for over 30 minutes and then they are so sloppily done by the owners mother. All in all we spend over 3 hours there. They're only getting the 2 stars instead of one due to the nail technician did BEAUTIFUL work. FINALLY we go to pay and are about to walk out when the owner's mother rushes over and makes my boyfriend show his ID. she literally did this to no one else and I watched over a dozen people check out. It isn't lost on me that my bf was the only black male in the salon and the only one made to show his ID. I felt extremely uneasy after that and will not be returning.

My first time at this salon so I did not ask for a specific person. I had a young man, still don’t know his name and he did a good job but at first he acted like he was in a rush. I booked a gel manicure and after removing the gel polish he started to trim my cuticles. I stopped him and asked why there was no soak and he told me that ā€˜we don’t do that’. In the 40+ years I’ve been getting manicures this is the first time I ever heard not softening the cuticle before trimming. He did get a bowl of water, just plain water, and soaked my first hand for about six seconds. I ended up getting the dip instead of the gel at his suggestion. Also after trimming my nails he made a show of putting a cap on the end of the clipper so I asked him about sterilizing the equipment in addition to protecting the edges. He acted like my question was unreasonable but I didn’t come here for an infection I left him a generous tip because that’s who I am but if I decide to schedule another appointment it will not be with him. I don’t like when I have to ask people to do their job when I’m paying you to do your job.

I went here with a group of coworkers for a networking event with one of our vendor partners. The vendor booked an appointment for our group and paid for all of us. There were 5 of us and not one of us enjoyed the experience or liked our nails. Donna did my nails. I asked for a full set of tips with acrylic and gel polish on top. She kept pushing me to do dip instead of acrylic. I kept asking her why she was pushing me to do dip rather than just do what I wanted. I finally said please just do acrylic with gel polish. She was not nice. She had a bad attitude the whole time she was working on my nails. She was rough and at one point hurt my finger so badly that I jerked my hand back. She just seemed to be in a bad mood and the experience was unpleasant. I hate the way my nails came out. The shape is thick and chunky and uneven. One of my coworkers also got tips and acrylic, her nail tech was even more rough. She left with 3 of her fingers having bloody cuticles. Not to mention the inside of this salon was not that nice or clean, which was surprising for the area and plaza it’s located in. Unfortunately none of us will be back here. We will make sure to tell our vendors to book elsewhere for work events...

Lovely nail salon, friendly employees, not cheap but far from expensive for the services rendered. I paid under $100 for a gel mani and matching-color pedi. Definitely worth the trek up three flights of stairs if you're in the area or need a nail appointment. So far my impression is that there's not much they cannot do here! I recommend taking a picture of what you want; this makes it easier for both you and your mani/pedicurist, rather than trying your best to explain what you want and, if you're like me, possibly still having anxiety throughout the appointment due to lack of certainty. Plus, this makes the process, and getting in and out 10x faster! Find a picture from Pinterest, Google, something you saw and liked before, etc., and most likely they'll be able to replicate the photo identically.

Pro Tip: bringing a photo is always a good idea when getting nails done- especially if you want something unique. This makes perfect execution of a design, style, or color desired more likely and drastically limits room for error. Make it easy for your mani/pedicurist! And give yourself peace of mind girl. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your complimentary beverage and guilty...
