Echos - Blast From The Past — Attraction in Idaho Springs

I’ve been shopping here the last two years since my sister first introduced me to this shop. I LOVE the selection of clothing and have bought a dozen pairs of pants, several shirts, and a cute purse. I was in the shop two weeks ago and spent over $100 on 3 new pairs of pants and even tipped the owner on the transaction (that’s how much I love this store). The first time I wore one of the new pair of pants, the material literally disintegrated in two spots and is not repairable. I’ve never had this issue with my purchases in the past and was very surprised by the poor quality of the material.

Today, I made the hour trip to Echos to see if I could exchange the pants for something else in the store. The owner refused. He said he clearly recognized me from shopping there multiple times, recognized the pants I had just bought, but would not exchange them because they’d been washed. He asked what I would do as a business owner and I said, “I would want to keep my loyal customers happy and make good on a defective item.” He still refused.

It’s unfortunate, as I do love his store, but I will not spend another of my hard earned dollars in Echos. And when people ask where I get my clothes (as happens all the time) I will now tell them I...

Really cool store to pick up some gifts for your loved ones. Wonderful place to pick up items for your hippie parents… Lol…I’m not into the tie-dye but I dig the colorful atmosphere. Also, I like the jewelry and the reasonable prices.. I am usually always helped out by the same gentleman that works there. Unfortunately again, I’m really bad with names, but I wouldn’t take him as a hippie. He looks punk rock to me. Anyways he’s wonderful, polite and eager to make sure you get everything you could ever desire in that store. Also, I can tell he’s a very hard worker. He definitely should get a raise. Overall, Echos, let’s just say you don’t wanna miss out on this cool shop. So save your pennies and go...

Absolutely loved the visit here, Daniel the owner was absolutely amazing. He talks and treats you like a friend amazing customer service and doesn't focus and just the work infront of him. He made sure that I was well taken care of, my girlfriend and I went to look around ended talking for a good while and bought henna, we did some awesome art and went back the next day just to show him. Outstanding place with outstanding people I would love to see this place get more recognized....
