Rhodes Skate Park — Attraction in Boise

I hear there is good weed but one I don't smoke and I don't skate, I was there working picking up candy, roaches and broken pipes because adolescent potheads apparently like an ecclectuc variety of sweets while they skate stoned determined to overrule their parents judgement that it's killing their motivation. Lol I'm kiddin about everything except I work their sometimes. Idk, I know little about skating except that they've got something for everyone their from beginner ramps and rails to massive bowls and pipes. It gets quite busy in the summer but is pretty available for worry free skating during the cold months. And if your a parent reading this, their is a very nice security guard there to make sure that it is safe and drug free cuz for real I was kidding, get over it. Great features including the Idaho wall, a volcano, crater, a couch in one of the bowls, and a nice deep pro bowl. It can get crowded but most people are great about taking turns on the features. You can often see people on bmx and scooters as well. They host a lot of great skate events throughout the nicer weather months. You can often park fairly close. I always feel safe here, but there haven't been clean bathroom options as of lately. The nicer ones were locked up. It's often hard to find clean bathrooms for girls around...

This spot is fantastic for skating! You know it must be good if the X-Games happened here! Only problem is the homeless population down there. I have found the best way to enjoy some quality skating without interrupting some guys nap in the bottom of the halfpipe is to purchase a few happy meals, speed by in your car with them hanging out the window and chuck them as far as you can.
