Re-POP Gifts — Local services in Boise

Update 3/15/25: I was out with my husband and our Golden Retriever, Ranger today. Hubby wanted to hit up Repop to find a gift for our nephew. I say outside with Ranger while he shopped. About 10 minutes later,a man walked past,going into the store,and said, "he can come in,you know." I did a double take and he said, "I'm the owner, he can come in." I firmly believe that our non-service dog,while well behaved, should not be in stores where animals are not welcome so I was fine sitting outside. But, I took the owner up on his offer and Ranger was on his best behavioreeting all out new friends in Re-POP.

So,now we have another reason to stop by, we can bring our boy in if we have him with us and know that we are not imposing.

Even when we don't know what exactly we are looking for, we find it at Re-POP! They have just the right amount of in the box and put of the box items that you'll find something for just about anyone here. There's always a cheerful face there when you walk in and they offer just the right amount of customer service. I don't ever feel hounded but I know they'll help me out if I have something inind or can't find something I'm looking for. I appreciate that they are still masking despite being vaccinated and that they are limiting the number of people in their store at a time as they can appreciate the size of their space.

Every year me and my aunt do wheres Waldo across downtown and every year we always stop by Repop. overall, it’s a great store But yesterday we stopped by for wheres Waldo and we’re having a little bit of trouble so I went to the counter to Ask the employee for a clue. He was busy talking to somebody so I waited there patiently, and when he had finished and looked down for a second, I asked him, “ Hello, do you mind if I get a clue for wheres Waldo really quick?” He said, “ Can’t you see I’m busy? Why do you need a clue? You’ve only been walking around the store For like 30 seconds.”(he had been quizzing the customers about what country The Zot’s candy came from) and we had been in there for more then 5 minutes I politely told him, “ I’m sorry we’re on a little bit of a time crunch because of our parking meter. Do you mind if we get a hint really quick?” He said, “ That’s not my problem. You’re the one who walked into my Store and you guys are the ones Who decided to look for Waldo in the first place. Just give me a second .” Usually whenever I walk into rep pop, I buy something whether it’s a trinket or a toy or a poster. I always love the atmosphere. But after that conversation, we just decided to leave. I didn’t even want to continue looking for waldo...

Re Pop has to be one of the dopest stores downtown. They are located next door to the salon I work at. I first noticed Mike sweeping the front of the salon for us. I thought that was so kind!

I was locking up shop when Mike formally introduced himself to me. It was nice to have him go out of his way to talk to me. We chatted and me noticed my Hello Kitty purse. Of course he told me they had Hello Kityu goodies in the store.

Even though they weren't quite open yet, Mike invited me in to check out the store! What a neat venue! It was almost overwhelming trying to look at everything! They have so much to look from Harry Potter, Marvel, socks to stickers. I made my way to the Hello Kitty area. They have a sorts of Sanrio goodies. Crystal also showed me other Hello Kitty goodies that they had. She was so sweet! I appreciate her taking the time to show me other products they had!
