EDIT: Visited a second time (1/5/24) to try this place out after the Manager (Crystal) reached out to us. A group of 7 of us did the "Undercover Alley" and on entering the room is was even hotter than the room below (The Kidnapping). We joked with the attendant who said there was nothing that could be done. Unlike The Kidnapping room - there was no box fan to circulate air. Not even 2 minutes in and everyone had to take off their hoodies/vests and place them over the props in the room so they were not on the floor. Throughout the game it was very bothersome to be wiping sweat off of your forehead while touching objects. Additionally, we were informed that the speaker that allows the game master to communicate with us was a "bit broken" and we were handed a walkie - talkie to communicate. For the price of an hours worth of entertainment here, I was a bit put off. The "intro" digital scene that plays at the start to give background into what we were doing there was VERY quiet, as were the audio cues throughout the game - it was VERY hard to hear. The game master overall kept things moving and handled the situation fairly well, he was a bit more animated and enthusiastic than our previous "dull" game master. The game was fun and we did end up breaking out with just 7 minutes to spare. After going twice, I am hesitant to try again a third time and find somewhere else to enjoy escape room games..

Having been to a few different escape room companies over the past few years, I’d give this place 3 stars. The game we played, Kidnapped, was very fun and challenging. However, it was EXTREMELY hot in the room with almost all of us sweating by the end of the game. The box fan provided in the room was just circulating hot air. It was a bit distracting wiping sweat off in between an already “high stress” environment. The Game Master seemed like she did not want to be there- short, unenthusiastic, monotone, and all together “blah”. It was a weird dynamic of having our group being excited to play a game compared to the level of disconnection of the Game Master. Note: this place does not serve drinks or food. This was a huge turn off to our group as a bit of liquid courage really elevates the experience. We are scheduled to go back to try another room this coming week, so hopefully we have a...

We brought two groups today for Monopoly and Island Escape. I'm not able to comment on Monopoly, but Island Escape seemed extremely difficult and a few of the interactive elements were broken or coming off the wall. (And, it was a bit repetitive. I estimate 14 or 15 combination locks/keypads. And, I didn't feel like we were progressing through a story or solving problems as much as just trying to figure out which lock to try to open next. There was no natural flow to the room, such as a centralized puzzle or problem.)

Our game master, who was very helpful, had to intervene A LOT to help us. Being our first time in an escape room, we had NO IDEA how to start or proceed after finding some clues. It was very frustrating that some of the clues and next steps were out of "reach." She nudged us along, but we definitely were in over our heads. And, many of the puzzles just seemed like you would need a lot of experience in Escape rooms to know what to do. I'd really like to know the success rate of first time victories on Island Escape!

With that said, a suggestion to the owner would be to put difficulty levels on your website for the different experiences so that complete newbies don't get stuck in a dark room without a 'clue' as to how to proceed. I really wanted to like the experience, but after this experience and hour of frustration and confusion, I wouldn't...

I have done every escape room except the Kidnapping 2!

Monopoly - 2/5 - I did Clue first, so my expectations were high. I was let down by this room. I might have liked it better if I had done it before Clue.

Clue - 5/5 - The best room they have there, hands down! The Kidnapping - 3/5 - There were no blindfolds available so that took away a star for me. Was a lot of fun though and a great room with a spooky feel without being scary.

Island Escape - 3/5 - Definitely an older room, but still good.

Mystery Mansion - 3/5 - Lots of math and the five minute timer makes it impossible to think in the last 5 mins.

Museum Heist - 3/5 I don't remember much about this room other than my group liked it, but it wasn't the most fun.

Bomb Squad - 3/5 - Room was again, just alright, but different than other rooms we had done before.

Submarine Survival - 2/5 - My group was super excited about this room because we were at a different one and we heard people screaming and laughing. Wasn't scary or that fun. My least favorite room by far.

Wild West - 5/5 - Just did this one and we had a blast!! Sam Elliot's voice as the way to introduce our room was a fun touch!

Runaway Train - 4/5 - This one gave my group a run for our money. We had so much fun and the only room we...

Date/time: 9/18/202 7:15pm Game: Island Escape Game Master: Allison Group Size : 4 ( girls night out). Finding the building was a little difficult, but I will blame the GPS! Trying to locate the building feels like the game started before check-in. Most of my group arrived one time, but one member. The Game Masters did not rush us, or make us feel rushed for time. While waiting for out final team members. Justin's customer service skills are incredible. He is very friendly, and welcoming. He doesn't mind joining in on a good joke. The facility was clean, and not crowded. You have a private gaming room. My game mater was Allison, she was supper funny and helpful. When giving clues, she doesn't give away the answer, but she definitely points you in the right direction. She is the embodiment of " service with a smile." The Island Escape room, was very fun.
