Another failure of a Qdoba due to poor choices in management. I came in, being pleasant to staff - basic please and thank you. Paid for my food and went to sit down...literally every table inside was dirty...from fingerprints to food crumbs to drink rings, etc so I go back to the register where there were 3 people in line and asked if someone could wipe down a table so I could sit down to eat. Alleana, who is pictured and claims she is the manager, cashed my order out at 2:44PM. I asked her immediately after to clean a table. The time is now 3:14PM and despite standing, with my disability and waiting patiently for her to clean a table, she has still come up with every excuse not to. Her initial claim was that bleach is used to clean the tables and she did not want to handle food with bleach on her hands. Unfortunately, her claim does not pass muster because she is handling money - the dirtiest item in circulation - plus food and not washing her hands in between. After all customers were gone, Alleana picked up a broom and started sweeping the floor - yes! While I was still patiently waiting for a clean table. In the interim, two gentlemen who saw me waiting offered to clean the table and she would not permit them to do so. When asking who the manager was, Alleana informed me she had called her manager concerning the issue and spoken with them to clear her decision - mind you, in the time it took to do so she could have simply cleaned the table, but ok. I informed her I intended to contact their corporate office and simply wanted to name the manager, not needing to speak with them. She said "I don't care". I explained to her how rude she was being and without cause given that I had been so polite. I took a photograph so that management can identify exactly who I was speaking with in hopes that they will provide her with leadership training so she knows how to treat customers and to consider the importance of how she handles individuals with disabilities.
Needless to say compensation for the cold food and experience at large are...
Read moreWent in to order a chicken bowl and the lady preparing my food did not have a hair net on though her hair was disheveled in a messy bun. She didn't wear a name badge and her shirt was half tucked - overall, I could tell she had an attitude. I proceeded to order as she rushed me in making my selections, seeing that I was reviewing the menu yet repeating "What protein do you want?" I asked for chicken and she added half a scoop of chicken - much less than I have received at any location. Nonetheless, I didn't feel like expending the energy to raise an issue so I kept my thoughts to myself, saying oh, well I need to cut back on meat anyway! But it came down to cilantro and the container was already empty so when she reached in for a pinch, she had but a couple sprigs in hand so I asked for more. She reached in again to scrape the sides but the container was already empty. She then replied that she could get more but that I would have to pay for any more than she had scraped together. The guy at the register onlooked - you could tell he was keeping to himself because she was in a mood so I decided to cancel the order altogether because when a person making your food has an attitude, that bad energy goes into the plate as well. I explained to her that customers are the reason she's able to get paid and that she should demonstrate a greater sense of respect for the customers that provide for her position and that if she's having a bad day, stay home! I am not sure if she was a manager. There didn't seem to be one present and despite calling three times after leaving, the phone was simply picked up and immediately hung up each time.
I will not support this location again. That type of attitude and poor service - at 12:30PM when there are two customers in the restaurant - is...
Read moreHaving never been to Qdoba before, I had no idea how good or bad the experience would be. However, after having a great meal and being treated so kindly and with patience by the workers here at this Qdoba, I’ll have to come back here again.
I entered the restaurant within an hour of closing, and they had already begun their cleaning duties for closing. The worker who would prepare my food looked up from wiping down the counter and greeted me with a loud but enthusiastic “Welcome to Qdoba”, which seemed like company policy but he made it feel homely like I was being greeted by an old friend.
Before I told him what I wanted in my chicken bowl, he told me that they were out of white rice, just to make sure that I would be ok with continuing my order. Afterward, I got to choose my veggie and salsa toppings, and when I mistakenly called the jalapeño salsa another name, he informed me of my mistake and said that it was alright. To show that I was unfamiliar with the establishment, I told him that it was my first time coming here, to which he proceeded to give me a slightly larger portion of the jalapeño salsa. This simple act of kindness is what drew me to write this review. It showed that great food service is still alive and well in our community and that workers like him should be treated with respect and dignity at their place of work.
After my order was wrapped, I paid, turned around, and walked out of the building with a big smile on my face. If I could go back in time and choose to get Qdoba for the first time again, I would only go to this location. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would.
Amazing service, and even greater food. I’ll be back...
