Emporium 40E — Attraction in Indianapolis

🤗👍 Absolutely 💘 love this place!! Best flea market EVER!! If your looking for new, used or anything in between this is the place to go! 💓😁 There's definitely something unique for EVERYONE!! Could spend hours and hours (and did) looking at all the antiques and one of a kind knick knacks and real cool vintage items! I would like to say a special thanks to a few people who made our visit this evening very pleasant and enjoyable. The young man at the cash register up front is extremely helpful and friendly. He was very kind and patient even though we were last 2 customers in the store before closing. ☺ Also towards the front, we were greeted by a very delightfully sweet and kind spirited young man that was helping out his mother. 💓 He was welcoming and friendly and made my daughter and I hearts smile with his kind words and beautiful smile. In there booth they have available many different items, but the few that caught our eyes today had to be the beautiful jewelry and also informed us, that they do jewelery cleaning and repair. Another awesome find was the sample oils which are a version of name brand perfume and cologne, that is the closest to the actual brand that you can get!! This is the 2nd time I have been to the store and the 2nd time I have been overcharged. I did tell the lady at the counter that the booth said it was 75% off, and she said if it is, it will ring up as such. I said that it didn't last time, so I wanted to be sure. The item was a SunSquad brand chalk holder, booth 1008, regular price $6.50, should have been 75% off. They also overcharged me on a Little People camper from booth 0721, the sticker said $3, but it rang up as $6.

I was visiting family, I live 10 hours away. I called to ask them to correct the issue and refund me remotely, they refused, stating I need to come in. They would not even let me scan and email the receipt and take the card over the phone for a refund. Clearly it is not worth the gas or time to do so, so I am out of luck. I recommend checking your receipt at the register before leaving.

I am giving two stars because I definitely like the store, they have a good selection. They just need to up their customer service and provide a way to refund their overcharge. I bet if it was the other way around and I called to tell them I was undercharged, they'd find a way to...

I like this flea market . It's clean and I can breath while shopping. I have asthma and can not be around a lot of dust or musty smells. And this place as very friendly employees. Sometimes you can run into the booth owners adding more merchandise, or marking down some items. I found a vintage clock for my husband's birthday or Valentine's Day gift.
