I made reservation for parking a few days prior to departure. When we arrived, there were no parking spaces available. Even though I pre-purchased parking for over $100. With that being said, we were told to park on level five to the far left of the lanes and car would be fine parked illegally. We parked and then proceeded to wait for shuttle.
Due to unforeseen weather circumstances, our trip was delayed due to Hurricane Idalia. We were stranded out at sea and were unable to make any phone calls. I was able to send a email to inform the parking attendant that due to the hurricane, our arrival time would be delayed by a day. I never received a response back. Finally, after a day of traveling over fourteen hours, we finally arrived at LAX. I called the parking attendant and informed her that we were ready to be picked up. She then proceeded to tell me that it would be between 30-40 mins for pickup. After waiting over an hour, I called again to inquire about ETA and to verify we were at the correct pickup location as she informed me to stand in front of the shuttle pickup area that was painted red and to look for the blue bus with 405. She was so rude and nasty and said that she didn’t know how much longer the driver would take and that the pink sign was the same as red. So, we waited another hour. Mind you, we had already spent over $250 to change our flights to make it home earlier. We were all exhausted from stress, travel time and the inconvenience of being stranded out at sea due to the hurricane. All we wanted was to get our car so we could get home. After me and my husband called the attendant multiple times she still had no response as to how much longer our wait would be. We saw so many shuttles drive by, but none for us. By this time, we were beyond annoyed, so my husband called again. This time, it was an older male that answered and he stated that the driver had been there three times. That was not the case. Especially, as we had four sets of eyes on the lookout. Finally, after a two hr wait, we decided to just catch a Lyft. As we were walking to the Uber/Lyft area, my husband had looked across the street and could see the shuttle on the second floor. There was no way we would make it back to the opposite side of the airport on the second level to meet driver. It looked like the driver was about to drop off passengers for outbound flights. That was the first and only time we saw the shuttle. So, we caught out Lyft and proceeded to drive to parking lot. We finally made it and got our car. However, we didn’t have a printout of the reservation, but I had the email with reservation # and amount paid. I explained to the attendant our travel circumstance. He then looked up our reservation online and stated we had to pay an additional $17 for parking. We had already spent additional money due to their lack of professionalism, empathy and snooty attitude. We should had not had to pay almost $40 for Lyft and parking due to their mishaps. Due to them not picking us up on time, we were there passed our original flight time and could have saved money by catching original flight. We will never use this lot again. No one ever spoke the words of “I’m sorry for the inconvenience”. This is not the way to do business. Especially, when people are exhausted and just want to be picked up in a timely fashion. Please hire people who have phone etiquette and who can answer simple straight forward questions to...

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the parking experience I encountered at 405 LAX Airport Parking on [Aug 17, 2023 08:30 PM]. I had reserved a parking spot in advance with the expectation of a smooth and efficient process to catch my flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). However, my experience was far from satisfactory and resulted in significant inconvenience and financial loss.
Firstly, when I arrived at the parking lot at 9:00 PM for a flight scheduled at 10:40 PM, I was shocked to find that there were no available parking spots. This forced me to spend an excessive amount of time driving around the lot searching for a vacant space. I had allowed for a buffer of 40 minutes to reach the airport using the free shuttle service, but due to the parking situation, it took a whole hour just to secure a parking spot.
To add to the frustration, the inconvenience did not end there. When I finally parked my vehicle, I discovered that the lift was out of order. This meant that I had to carry my luggage up and down five flights of stairs, which was not only physically taxing but also extremely stressful. This is not the level of service I expected when choosing your parking facility.
Additionally, your free shuttle service, which should have provided timely transportation to the airport, was unavailable for over an hour. As a result, my travel companion and I missed our flight, incurring substantial costs for missing my flight, hotel accommodations, and additional parking expenses.
I am deeply disappointed by the poor service I received from 405 LAX Airport Parking. Not only did I experience a significant inconvenience and loss of time, but I also suffered financial consequences totaling approximately $500.
I expect that as a customer, my reservation for a parking spot should have been honored, and the services provided should have been efficient and reliable. I would appreciate a prompt response to this complaint, along with an explanation for the issues I encountered and a resolution to compensate for my financial losses due to this unfortunate experience.
I kindly request that you take immediate steps to address the problems with your parking facility and prevent such inconveniences from happening to other customers in the future.
I look forward to your...
Read moreDO NOT PARK HERE! I repeat DO NOT PARK HERE. The one star rating is very generous. I parked my vehicle there on a Thursday morning and returned on Monday morning to find that my vehicle was broken into and belongings were missing from my car. I immediately called the police and notified the parking staff. The supervisor on duty asked me to complete a claim form. I completed the form to the best of my ability and returned the form to the supervisor. I was a provided a copy of the form as I waited for LAPD to arrive. Once I completed the report with the LAPD I got into my vehicle to return to my residence which was about 45 minutes away. On my drive home I received a phone call stating the claim form was not filled out in its entirety and that I needed to return to the garage so that I could complete the form. The parking supervisor (Kevin) informed me that my claim would be delayed if I did not return to complete the form that he accepted and provided me a copy of. I asked if I could provide the information over the phone because I was about 10 minutes from my residence and he refused to further assist me. I asked Kevin for his direct supervisor multiple times and was given very little support. I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them after I was the one who had suffered loss after using their parking garage to store my vehicle while away on travel. I had a $200 jacket stolen and all of the keys to access my house, mailbox, and amenities at my home. I would like to add that because my keys were missing from my vehicle my immediate thought was I needed to get home right away to verify whether anything had been stolen from my home. Finally after several minutes of back and forth on the phone with Kevin, I was provided with a name and number for the parking lot supervisor Nick Fechisso. Needless to say after multiple phone calls and voice messages over the course of 2.5 weeks to Nick, he never returned my phone calls or apologized for what I experienced as a patron at 405 parking garage. The lack of professionalism provided from this staff was more than enough for me to decide to never return to this garage. Please do yourself a favor and take your...
