AMC Irving Mall 14 — Attraction in Irving

Went with my family to see doctor strange multiverse of madness for the 8:15 showing on may 7th and the two employees were seriously ridiculous. My husband and I waited in line and the gentleman who called us over to check out was so rude! We noticed on the menu they didn’t have hot dogs and were a bit disappointed but we saw they had a new item the Mac and cheese bites and so we ordered and he said they ran out so we didn’t get anything and walked away but on the other side our friends ordered the Mac and cheese bites so we thought maybe they just ran out and the lady at the counter in the other side let us know they didn’t run out and I was good so I approached her and she ran my order but they didn’t have Apple Pay and unfortunately my husband had just left to the bathroom and he had the card :( I came back maybe 20 minutes later to see if I can get my order of Mac and cheese bites and i got the same gentleman and his friend and they mentioned they were sold out again so I got frustrated and walked away. We were there with friends and family and our family was running about 40 minutes late to the movies when they got there they waited in line and ordered the mac & cheese bites and they were not sold out. I went to pick them up for my sister in law who ordered them 40 minutes after they told us they sold out and the gentleman was like I told you earlier we sold out and I mentioned I’m picking up for my sister in law and he quickly gave me our order. It’s ridiculous that I had to send another person to go order something for us Because for some reason they would not let us buy them. I felt highly discriminated against. Our family will definitely not be going back...

Recently took my children to this theater that we have been going to for years and I can honestly see why the reviews are so bad. The manager, Anson, or however, you spell his name is very arrogant and rude. His staff is a reflection of it as well. I take my children there every year on the last day of school once they graduate and go to the next grade as a celebration. This particular time we went to see Lilo and stitch, and the service was absolutely horrible. The staff was so rude to the customers directly in front of me and it made me feel very uncomfortable. Halfway through the movie I went to go get a refill of the large popcorn that I purchased, and I was told I had to stand at the end of the line during a movie that was already playing. I am 53 years old and have been going to the movies since I was a child and never have I been told that I have to stand at the end of the line to get a refill during a movie. It takes less than 60 seconds to give a customer a refill of popcorn and let them get back to their movie. This was not the case and the staff was very rude about how they handled it and the manager was also and told me I could leave if I didn’t like it In front of my 5 year old son. We never got the Refill because we didn’t want to miss any more of the movie and so we went back to our seats. At the end of the movie I attempted to speak with another manager ‘African-American lady and she refused to give me her name and told me That I needed to talk to the other manager cause she was busy and could not help me. My children and I left and this was the worst movie...

This is one of the risky places to visit at night time. I was getting of my movie midway to return home and outside of theater entrance ( the place where we show tickets) there are kids hanging out and shouting and irritating others, the strange thing is they are irritating and making comedy out of the security guard who is there and that guy is not even responding or not making them to step out of the mall. I was afraid to go out in front of them and I asked that security guard to open the door again and he opened and I explained the situation and said I’ll return to my movie and don’t want to go out when they were there. He said I can’t allow you as you already stepped out, then I asked him to help me until car, he said he can’t do that. Then I asked him to get rid of those kids making mess outside and he said he can’t do that. Then I informed I am afraid to go out then he said I have two options 1- go out in front of those kids and get out 2- exit from the other way and revolve around the whole mall and get my car which is in opposite way which I exited.

I took option 2 , luckily no body was there when I went to my car after revolving around the mall.

My question here , why is that security gaurd even working there ? What is his duty? Can’t even take stand for himself when kids are making comedy on him ? I requested that guy to help me but he never ever wanted to help me at 11:30 pm and asking me revolve around the mall and go in this weather. If he can’t provide security why is that guy even there?
