Comfy Furniture — Attraction in Irving

DISHONEST!!!!!! When buying a bed via the website, I was told I would need a box spring for the bed I chose. Upon delivery/installation the delivery men put the box spring on the bed, but not the mattress, as I was still shopping for a mattress. It was two weeks later I finally found a mattress and when the delivery person put the mattress on the bed, it was obvious the bed did not need a box spring. It was so high I couldn’t get in the bed, and the beautiful tall headboard was nearly completely covered. The deliver guy and I took the mattress off and then the box spring off and put the mattress back on, and it was perfect! The bed DID NOT require a box spring after all. About two days later, I tested positive for covid and was unable to handle this situation. I have since called and explained the situation to the managers at this store and was told “there’s nothing we can do”. I’m now stuck with something I don’t need and must pay for because of incorrect information THEY provided. Understandably, they are not comfortable taking a box spring that has been exposed to covid, however, the box spring would have never been in my home in the first place had they gotten their facts correct in the first place. They are unwilling to even meet halfway! I have the box spring that has never been used, and they can come get it. They refuse. They should eat the cost of this box spring because THEY were wrong. They are the ones in the business of furniture, not me! You’d think they’d have their facts straight! The mistake STARTED WITH THEM!!!! This bed is a platform bed and not only should the sales people have known, but also the installers, that it did not require a box spring. I am financing this furniture, so the attitude with the store is “we got our money, it’s no longer our problem”. They absolutely oversold me, and have now washed their hands of the problem! I will never, ever shop with this store again! The customer satisfaction here is horrible! I now am not comfortable that I got correct information about the other furniture I got from them. I honestly want to just start over with a more honest store where customer satisfaction is important. I’d never recommend this store! It’s been hell, from half their items being sold out, to the deliver date/time, to now this. And the whole “there’s nothing we can do” attitude. I can’t say I’ve ever been treated this way anywhere. Once they’ve made the sell, they don’t know your name! They’ll be super accommodating until the sale is final!...

I purchased a new house and needed new furniture. I was some what on a budget due to a large down payment towards the house. I went in expecting a pushy sales person etc... but that wasn't the case. Sales person was very friendly and assisted me with my questions. I think the persons name was Joseph? I went in thinking I was going to buy just a bedroom set for the time being due to financial issues. The sales person told me about there finance department and I can take anything I want from the store. I ended up that day purchasing a new mattress, 1 bedroom set, 2 living room sets, and a dining table for a STEAL. Eat your heart out Rooms 2 Go. The prices were unbelievable, almost to good to be true. To top that off, I didn't pay much up front. Items were delivered to me by 2 young men that carried the items into my house and set it up for me. They were really great to deal with. They were very friendly and professional, they called me as soon as my furniture arrived to the store. They asked "what was a good time for the items to be delivered" and "if I had any special instructions"? Items were delivered at the time promised by the sales rep. I cannot be any happier to deal with people from Comfy Furniture. I wish all my future purchasing experience are...

I stopped looking for a very specific couch, which they did have and the lady working was super nice, unfortunately this place is going to rip you off by nearly double. I asked about pricing and she told me $1300 before delivery which is utterly insane. I can order it directly from the brand name store, same exact set for less than $800.00 with tax and delivery included in that price. Please comparison shop, businesses out here price gouging like crazy.

Edit: In response to Comfy Furniture...there are no deals on the set and I went directly to the main website the couch is $499 and the love seat is $279 so to try to sell the set for 1300.00 is price gouging and signs of clearance and liquidation on your building front misleads people to believe they will find a better deal with your store which is not the case. I can get the entire set with tax and delivery for $925.75 from Ashley Furniture online or in store with NO SALE or DISCOUNT. I missed it for $389 and $219 during their 4th of July sale. Your tactics in a well-known low income area is clear, you don't think your customers will be knowledgeable on what they are looking to purchase which is not ok.
