The cashier lady is rude and a liar. This was our first visit. We were ordering a few items. Anyways, we decided to remove an item as we didn’t want it but maybe she didn’t understand and the transaction already went through. This is where you’ll see the cashier lady blatantly lie. Since we paid by card, she refunded us with cash but not the complete amount of the cancelled item. She said prices have changed and the menu board with the prices on it needs to be updated to be lower. Inspite of telling her few times, she did not budge, even me telling her that I have never heard any food place lowering their prices. However, our receipt showed the amount on the display, so I went back to the counter and told her that we are missing money and also the sales tax. She claimed sales tax can not be refunded as the transaction had been processed. This is illegal! Who says sales tax is not refundable? She very rudely retuned the balance but not the sales tax. Read moreThe worst experience! Took my 10m lo & 6.5 yrs for dinner by walk as it’s close to my place. Asked for high chair, they said no high chair🙄.Asked for buffet, she got 2plates with some oily rice & uncooked steamed long grain rice from inside. Asked to serve curries(unlimited😑) we couldn’t not eat anything as I had to carry my lo & eat...now I can’t tell u how horrible was the taste of curries!!! At last I gave my card & asked if they serve desert, they said ya we give jilebi. Read moreI have been visiting the SaRiGaMa Indian Cafe since 2009 and the service is going from bad to worse off late. Over the last few days: The staff at the counter is confused about the discounts (10%, Cash, Card, Taxes included/excluded etc). This place has all the possibilities of being a COVID spreader as there is no social distancing inside, nor is mask mandated for those who are entering. And the door handle needs to be touched no matter what. The staff at the counter would do better with an hour's customer service training. They strangely stare at you and maybe, have been trained to "judge, respond and sell".
I would be very hesitant to go there myself again or with a female...
