This is my second year going to Kutting Edge. Love the 4:1 student instructor ratio. It’s just right in terms of watching for correct form versus the pressure of being over observed. The coaches are really good at fitness fundamentals and the system ensures members are slowly pushed to improve, reducing the chances of injuries due to a excessive ambition like with CrossFit. It’s also a nice open garage style atmosphere with fun music and golf academy sharing the broader space.
The caveats to be aware of are 1) Need to sign a years contract 2) The price per session can get expensive 3) There are many rules in place that aren’t obvious or listed clearly in one place around rescheduling, pausing, or rolling over. 4) Slots are limited, easiest to find slots a week in advance.

I absolutely love the small group (1-4 members) training and we all feel like friends as we train independently but together with our coach. Great equipment, motivating music and highly personalized and challenging workouts keep me going back 2 to 3 times a week.
