My phone wouldn't charge because (I thought) the port was loose & charging cord wouldn't stay in. I took my phone to several places that couldn't help & last place that did phone repairs said I needed a new port (over $100) and was acting sketchy it made me uncomfortable to have them work on my phone. I took my phone to Batteries Plus with the thought of finding another way to charge it without using a cord. Chelsea took my phone to look at and after a few minutes with a tool, she was able to use a charging cord & it works perfectly! She said there was a lot of dust and junk stuck in the port & a charging cord couldn't get a connection to charge. (Something I hadn't even thought might be the issue.) Chelsea even took the time to show me what she did & the right tool to get so I could do it myself if I want, but Batteries Plus does this service for FREE! I was so happy that she did this simple thing I was about to cry with joy! Read moreI came in about a month ago to get my phone screen replaced since I had dropped it and shattered it. The staff was very nice and replaced the screen for me. However about a week or two later my screen starting glitching a little so I had them take a look and they replaced it again for me at cost (I understand because I had scratched the screen a little since). In the process of replacing the screen the man repairing my phone accidentally tore the proximity sensor so I had to come again a few days later to open the phone up again and replace that sensor. No big deal to me.
Everything was working fine up until today. The screen is completely spazzing out, typing random things and half the touchscreen is not working and I am basically unable to use it until I get it fixed again. I will call tomorrow to see what I can do, I know I have not dropped it or done anything to compromise it. Read moreMy fiancé and I went in yesterday to get his screen repaired. His phone was there for a couple hours so I called. I was told there was nothing they could do because the screen he needed was on back order. That was fine no issue, so I went and picked up the phone, when my fiancé got home from work he plugged that phone it to make sure it was fully charged just to make sure everything was still functioning properly besides the screen being messed up. Come to find out whoever was working on his phone had reset it and he lost EVERYTHING. He had photos of his dad who passed. Now everything is gone. Very disappointed about this and when we called the man who answered said “I wasn’t working yesterday”. I’m sorry but that is very unprofessional because it shouldn’t matter if he was at work or not yesterday when we brought the phone in. This is the stores mistake. And it is any store employees duty to fix that mistake....
