We have vacationed in Grand Teton National Park for the past three years (2020, 2021, 2022). In 2021 we came early enough in the summer season to attend Touch-A-Truck. My children (then 7 and 3) got a small taste of the museum then. They absolutely loved in. So much so that we made it a destination stop for this year. We were lucky enough to secure one of the drop-in spots today and they played for more than an hour before we had to head back to camp. My daughter (now 8) says all you need to have fun is your imagination. As a parent I love that I can see my children in the entire space, yet there are several distinct spaces for play. My daughter went straight to crafts. My son went to prop play. They both had a great time and didn’t want to leave. This is an amazing museum that likely gets lost in all of the happenings and activities in the downtown Jackson area. I HIGHLY recommend a visit and a contribution to the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum. It’s...
Read moreMy son and I visited today from out of town and I’m very confused. Is the actual museum under construction or something? We went to a conference center and there were a few activities in one room but did not look like any of the photos on the website. I think the website is very misleading as to what the museum actually is. My son had fun playing with the few activities that were available but it looked like a few toys and stations had been taken from an actual children’s museum and placed in a room with no particular organization. I’m more frustrated that I had to pay $15 per person (including the adult) to play in a conference room. What is the point of the adult paying the same amount as a child when the adult is just there to supervise and facilitate the play if needed? The staff was very nice and welcoming but then just sat around talking about developing their own preschool program. I’m just confused… definitely not worth the money...
Read moreWe just found out about this wonderful place for our kids, ages 3 and 1 1/2 years old. We live in Pinedale, but travel to Jackson for our grocery and healthcare needs. Everyone was so friendly, and there were so many activities for our kiddos to engage in both inside and out. We had such a wonderful time making new memories and learning how the world around us works! We will definitely be back, as we didn't have nearly enough time to explore all that there was to do and see! I'm so happy to discover that we have such a fantastic place to come to when we visit!!! A big thanks to all of the people who have made this possible, and for the friendly caring staff who invest their time and creativity to make this such a fun and joyful place for the...
