Barker-Ewing Whitewater — Attraction in Jackson

What a great way to spend a Sunday! I was fortunate enough to schedule a breakfast combo trip in late August and it was AWESOME!! I was part of the Cycle Greater Yellowstone ride and was having difficulty arranging transportation from the campsite of the CGY to the Barker-Ewing office. The staff was incredible in helping me work out those major issues starting several weeks prior to my trip. Our guide, Sprat, was entertaining, knowledgeable about the local wildlife, and relayed a sense of confidence that put us all at ease. Loved the breakfast stopover....a nice little hike up to a campfire with a delicious hot breakfast waiting for us. The last half of the trip rocked.....great rapids! Overall this was well worth it. The price was reasonable, the staff was stellar, the organization of the trip was well thought out...can't think of one thing I would change or do different. Thanks Barker-Ewing for...

Everyone in our family of five thought our whitewater rafting trip with Barker-Ewing was the highlight of our Yellowstone trip. Setting up the trip by phone with an employee was easy. The representative helped me pick a ride that would fit our kids ages (11,9, and 8). When we got to Barker-Ewing, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful employee who let us know what we needed, i.e., said we would need wetsuits and water shoes and thank goodness took his advice and rented. We got wet, and the water was cold. We also had the opportunity during the trip to get in the water in some calm areas. Without the wetsuits, we would not have been able to do that. The guide, Will, was fun and very experienced. He seemed to love what he was doing, and it showed. The trip down the snake river was the perfect amount of thrill and beauty for our family, and our we highly recommend...

Our family did the breakfast float trip this June with Austin as our guide. First off, the Staff at the office was very accommodating and friendly. They had wetsuits for rental and thought prices were reasonable ($10-$12 depending upon how many pieces) Our bus driver, Jake was great and kept a watchful eye all our stuff when we went on the whitewater section and entertained with his mandolin. Can't say enough good things about Austin! Our first impression was laid back Cali surfer, but he turned out to be an absolute wealth of information and made the trip both fun and educational. He made it a great trip for our kids, us, and the other couple in the boat! We had a blast in the rapids yet felt safe and the time flew by.
